1. Technical Drawing ďƒ˜ The drawing below represent a one-point perspective drawing of a factory. (A3 paper, pencils)

ďƒ˜ The drawing from above represents a two-point perspective, in which I wanted to observe how the placement of the vanishing points affect the overall aspect of the shapes. (A3 paper, pencils)

Geometrical Composition ďƒ˜ This is a study of axonometry, perspective and also materials (glass and wood). ďƒ˜ A2, ink and pencils

2. Observational Sketches ďƒ˜ This was one of the buildings that I studied about while working as a volunteer for A.R.C.E.N. It was designed by one of the first Romanian female architects and it combines different traditional elements, unique in the area.

ďƒ˜ This is a page taken from my sketchbook, in which I drew one of the streets from Lisbon, Portugal, during my trip there.

Art Deco Buildings While working as a volunteer for A.R.C.E.N, I participated in a few courses about modern architecture. After reading “Modern Architecture, by Alan Colquhoun, I found it intriguing how different movements took place in various places around the world. I wanted to illustrate how Art Deco manifested in different countries: the building from the upper left is from India, the one from the lower left is from Uruguay, the one in the center is from USA, the one from the upper right form Portugal and the last one from Romania.

3.Concepts & Designs ďƒ˜ Interior design for an art studio in which I imagined a relaxing space, with mostly neutral colors.

ďƒ˜ A3 paper, markers and pencils

ďƒ˜ This is a concept for vertical living spaces for South-Eastern Asia. In my opinion, it’s inevitable for some countries, with numerous citizens, to develop vertically and I believe that this should be done in a way that would not exclude our environment. I tried to adapt the traditional architecture and use it as inspiration for this design. ďƒ˜ A3, markers and pencils

Design for an Art Museum I find museums to be one of the most important public institutions, especially due to the cultural values that they promote. I tried to create a design for an art museum, that would serve for various type of exhibitions and also incorporate natural elements, that would offer the feeling of refreshment. The drawing from the lower left represents the plan of the building. (A2, markers, pencils and ink)

ďƒ˜ Interior design for a bedroom ďƒ˜ A3 paper, markers and pencils

4. Abstract Drawings (both drawings are on A2 paper, with watercolors and ink)

ďƒ˜ I wanted to illustrate a pressing issue faced at the moment: the deterioration of our environment, caused by the relation we have with technology. I hope to improve this aspect in my future work and activity.

5. Studies I.

The drawing from the left represents an anatomical study, in which I tried to understand how the muscular system looks like in a state of movement. The upper part represents how the clavicle links to the scapula and how the muscles combine with it. (A4, pencils)

II.

The drawing from the left is a study of still life, in which I used two light sources: one from the lamp and one from the outside. I crated the composition on my own, then worked after a photo of it, in order to keep the same lightning.

ďƒ˜ This is a study of material, namely wood. I used two statues as models, in order to observe how the shapes affect the striations of the wood. ďƒ˜ A3, pencils and markers

6. Portraits

These portraits are part of one of my studies, in which I wanted to learn how to express the facial features in different styles and techniques.

7. 3D Model Making

Residence 3D Model  I wanted to create a full project, starting with the design of the building and completing it with a 3D representation that would offer a better understanding of the structure.  I used acrylics and pencils for the drawing of the house.  For the model, I used black and white board, as well as balsa wood.
