As the result of exploration of the architectural folly design, the Geometric Bus Stop is intentionally designed with vegetation elements. The repetitions and overlays of the triangles are ďŹ gurative interpretations of the tree outline. Along with trees as shading, lighting, and seating, the Geometric Bus Stop can act as a street furniture that is suitable to be integrated into the wide sidewalks of a city, and supports the level of walkability of the surrounding area. The design also implicitly gives a message to protect the existence of sufďŹ cient greenery for the city, with its encircling shape, as if to become a shield for the trees.

Hills of Art is an art installation created using a parametric method. The bulbous shapes that are layered interact with each other and form a maze that is fun to walk through and enjoy, especially in the afternoons when the evening sky is reďŹ&#x201A;ected on the surface. The upper side of the installation can be climbed and becomes a sight seeing point and a place where city residents can enjoy the city at different heights. The alien and futuristic form of Hills of Art can present visuals and space experiences that are exciting and ever-changing in every step.

Lungs of the City, as the name suggests, is designed to present a vegetation tower between glass and steel buildings in dense urban areas. Its organic shape mimics the cylindrical but asymmetrical growth of tree trunks. The extension section of the main cylinder provides a horizontal plane that is used for planting. Lungs of the City is intended to stand out from the typical surrounding buildings, by bringing a sense of nature and the forest summarized in a dynamic parametric form. Lungs of the City can also be a home for birds to perch and build nests.

The Dome is composed of blocks arranged in a woven pattern, with the four corners curved downward, forming four parabolic openings on all four sides. Its existence motivates activities and visits so that it is classiďŹ ed as a place maker. This Dome applies the Structure as Architecture principle. Overlapping in each beam becomes main joints which support each other so that the dome can stand.

The City Pavilion is intended to be a venue for city outdoor events. The small units of white origami folds together and form a hall that enlarges and extends forward, gesturing a welcome to the audience.

06 ADAPTIVE FACADE

The facade design is a double facade, following the hotel concept of an uneven stone surface. The unevenness of the surface is formed from the facades components that can rotate, in the form of square panels, segmented on each lotus. Rotation is inﬂuenced by the sun's heat, so that temperature or thermal acts as an attractor point.

An effort to present sustainable and child-friendly architecture in the midst of a crowded village, which has very little play and learning areas for children outside the school area. Evaluating the value of an empty land into a useful space for the surroundings by including simple architectural work that stands out from the surrounding building typology. The uplift concept is applied to the folly shape that is elevated from the ground level, and the space widens and rises, providing a dynamic and interesting spatial experience.

The world of literacy does not yet feel inclusive and is still synonymous with the academic community. The existence of Trapez is expected to be a trigger for literacy interest that can reach the daily life of the community, by being on the side of a city road.

Trapez Knockable Book Kiosk is designed to be folded and opened easily. When in a closed position, the Trapez consists of 4 planks and 4 supports. In the open position, the Trapez will be transformed into two reversed trapezoidal, forming two spaces large enough for a book display, small storage, and a cashier. The rooftop from Trapez is made into skylights so that during the daytime you don't need lights. The outer sides of the right and left of the shop are used to hang newspapers and magazines. All shelves, hangers and tables, are designed to be folded and blend into the main structure of the book stall. Warung Modern and Indomie Fusion are trending. Today's eating activity is considered a lifestyle. It takes an Indomie shop design that feels modern and fun, with an efficient service flow. To create fast service for all service areas, the kitchen is placed in the middle of the room with the concept of an open kitchen, so that the seller's cooking activities can be seen by the buyer, as a supervisory function as well as a point of interest. The dining atmosphere is made informal and relaxed with the option of sitting on the floor on the right side of the building, and the option of sitting in the booth on the left side of the building. Both sides have direct access to the entrance and exit of the building.

The concept of Social Housing is taken as an effort to normalize the “srawung” culture in residential units by providing communal facilities: a shared lobby space, shared parking, and a shared rooftop garden. This facility is also held as an effort to create healthy housing for the residents' physical and mental health. The shop was raised on the 1st ﬂoor with the consideration of increasing the area of the motorized vehicle parking lot, the vehicle did not cover the shop's facades and displays, and the shop was not directly exposed to vehicle fume pollution from the parking lot and highway. A 5-storey shophouse that accommodates 2 work class houses, 4 middle class houses and 6 lower class houses, 4 shop units, parking lot, common room, and a rooftop garden.

Asana is more than just a hotel. Asana is the place where business deals happen, where ideas are born, where discussions transpire, and where guests can have a cozy stay. The target market or segmentation for hotels is business people, ofďŹ ces, entrepreneurs, young executives, and hotel guests in general. Located in the Jombor area, which is a crossing area between cities, Asana is designed as an accommodation development that will trigger Jombor to the Transit Oriented Development area. Asana consists of 2 main masses, namely the tower residents which accommodate all bedroom hotel facilities (deluxe & suite), the podium as a mass that accommodates commercial and business functions, namely the lobby, retail, meeting rooms, and convention halls, and 2 supporting masses, which accommodate recreational and consumption functions, namely restaurant and gym & sauna.

Ruang Lungguh is a place for people where it's possible to slow down from the fast pace of city life. Located in the Abu Bakar Ali Park, Ruang Lungguh bridges the Malioboro, Mangkubumi, and Flower Market areas which were previously separate and not pedestrian friendly. Ruang Lungguh is a commercial third place area that serves as a complement to the Malioboro area. As a third room, Ruang Lungguh facilitates various community activities, from shopping and eating, discussing, chatting, exercising, watching movies, to co-working and joint workshops. Angkringan is taken as the main concept. Angkringan Jogja has become more than a cheap place to eat, it has transformed into an experience and spirit of its own. A social experience, without class boundaries. Angkringan is a manifestation of the Yogyakarta slogan that is at ease. Lifting "Angkringan" as a big concept means reafďŹ rming the character of the city of Yogyakarta which has long existed.

Jalan raya pada sisi timur site menurun setinggi 4 meter, sehingga bagian underground site dimanfaatkan sebagai tempat parkir untuk bis pariwisata dan kendaraan mobil, dengan pemisahan ruang dan entrance/exit. Bis akan masuk dan keluar dari sisi timur site, sementara mobil akan masuk dan keluar via Jl. Abu Bakar Ali di sisi selatan site.

Dua massa ditempatkan sejajar dengan garis rel kereta api. Massa pertama berada di sisi barat site, secara general menaungi aktivitas yang lebih public, sementara Massa kedua berada di sisi timur site, secara general menaungi aktivitas yang lebih private. Diantara kedua massa tercipta open space yang akan dirancang sebagai urban plaza.

Kedua massa disesuaikan berdasarkan luasan yang dibutuhkan. Urban Plaza didesain sebagai basis bangunan pertama, mengundang user datang dari sisi barat dan selatan, dan tidak sejajar ketinggian jalan (bagian bawah urban plaza dimanfaatkan sebagai parkir motor). Keputusan desain ini mengelevasi ruang publik yang biasanya terbatas di level jalan.

Jogging track diletakkan sepanjang rel kereta api, memanfaatkan ruang kosong di atas rel. Posisi ini menciptakan experience berlari bersama dengan kereta api. Via jogging track, user yang melakukan jogging juga bisa mengunjungi kedua bangunan. User yang tidak jogging bisa berjalan dari satu bangunan ke bangunan lain via platform street food.

Meniru prinsip fasad bangunan di Malioboro, bangunan dalam site dipisahkan dengan segmen - segmen, untuk menghilangkan kesan bangunan yang panjang. Segmentasi tersebut kemudian ditransformasikan menjadi cascading geometry, terinspirasi dari corak geometry fasad kolonial di Malioboro.

06 Sisi bangunan yang menghadap keluar (ke jalan dan rel kereta api) di slice, dengan kemiringan tertentu agar menghadap ke jalan dan rel kereta di sisi timur, memberi kesan mengundang.

07 Massa kemudian dilengkapi dengan utilitas dan sistem bangunan pendukung.

08 Sebagian platform - platform teratas bangunan dimanfaatkan untuk patio, taman, sky cinema, dan ruang bersantai, untuk memanfaatkan vista yang didapatkan dari dalam site. User dapat melihat Malioboro, Kali Code, dan Merapi dari titik - titik tersebut.

Lataran Nitikusala is the second branch of the Nitikusala coffee shop. Lataran Nitikusala will be built in a shop complex, with a lease status. The budget owner is limited, the interior design is expected to attract visitors and allow gradual development when additional budget is available. Due to this context, interior design is made simple, with neutral colors, and focuses on chair layout, wall design, and lighting. The rented shophouse consists of 3 floors, but for the first stage, only two floors will be developed as a café area, with an additional development in the side courtyard area on the first floor for smoking visitors.

Lakuna means cavity, or between. An empty space between other things. Located on the contoured hill of Embung Tambakboyo, Lakuna Art Gallery tries to offer visitors a respite from their daily activities, both from the art works displayed in the gallery and the gallery layout itself. The Lakuna consists of three masses of different shapes to provide a dynamic and diverse spatial experience. The main hall has its own ground level skylight, to allow light to come in without damaging the paintings inside. Lakuna also has a viewing tower, overlooking Embung Tambakboyo, and it stands ďŹ rmly on stilts structure.

DTAP's west landscape design has a big concept of movement. The walkable platform is zigzagged and descends to the waterfront, maximizing the khaki walking distance. With the platform decreasing, users can enjoy the waterfront visuals from any point.

Karangmojo Mosque is built on waqf land. The design adapts the concept of the identity of the Javanese mosque, namely (1) a strong triangular element on the roof, (2) an open foyer and veranda, (3) module repetition on the ďŹ&#x201A;oor plan. The mosque's hallway is semi-outdoor with a rooster wall. The roof is made in the shape of a repeating triangle, like an origami paper. The opening on the side of the triangle becomes the mosque's skylight, allowing interesting light inputs into the main praying ďŹ&#x201A;oor.

The mosque design can accommodate two stages of development according to the available budget. On the side of the mosque, a Karangmojo Kindergarten will be built, as one integrated complex.

The available site is quite large (± 1.8 hectares), so the Sport Center design is planned to accommodate a variety of sports, recreation and village tourism activities. The concept of the Karangtengah Sport Center itself is "One Stop Recreation Spot", which is represented in the form of a design with integrated parts, green, and child friendly.

Baabul Khoirot Mosque is a mosque in the Lebak Bulus area. The site is in the form of waqaf land and is in the middle of a residential area. The big concept of a mosque is Eco-Munity, which stands for (1) ecology: a mosque that responds to nature, (2) community: a mosque as a community center, and (3) e-mosque: a mosque that represents, even beyond its era. The design of the Baabul Khoirot Mosque prioritizes functional aspects, rather than the image of the building itself. Unlike other buildings of worship that prioritize images (temples, churches, temples), a mosque is a place of worship whose orientation is function, without any speciďŹ c design standards. There are ďŹ ve main design principles that are held during the design transformation, namely: (1) Box layout, (2) Procurement of Communal Zones, (3) Absence of dome or curved shapes, (4) Use of semi-permeable materials, and (5) Green System Application.

This program is a land use design proposal for the Kali Code edge area. So far, the river is considered a landfill for residents, because there is no direct benefit for the community from Kali Code. Land can be designed to be productive and healthy land that can be used by the community for activities. This reciprocal relationship will make the community more appreciative of times and change their thinking from being a trash can to being a place of shared recreation and a public space. The design that was finally decided was a public facility. This pavilion was created as a place for people to gather and do activities. From regular meetings, to picnics and fishing, from casual chat to celebratory events. The pavilion is made with a massive roof and raised 60 cm from the ground in anticipation of heavy rain and puddles. The sides of the pavilions are made open for air circulation and good sunlight. The pavilion is equipped with street furnitures, in the form of seats that people can use to relax.

Taman Kembang is a solution to reduce the number of Commercial Sex Workers (CSWs) with all their characteristics. Through the introductory approach, then education and training, it is hoped that the presence of the Flower Park can encourage these marginalized people to be both objects and drivers of their economy. Through the Flower Park, city residents can also do recreation to express their expressions and emotions with various available facilities and spaces. Taman Kembang is structured as a street furniture that utilizes the pedestrian path on Jalan Pasar Kembang. The sidewalks are turned on and their functions and attractions are multiplied by providing a mini library, mini stage, mini amphitheater, and mini garden.

Connect Library has the concept of playing with solid voids in simple geometric shapes. The building consists of four square masses arranged radially following a circular void in the middle which becomes the outdoor library area. This middle voids also allow the entry of light to all sides of the building. The library building acts as a comprehensive means of formal and non-formal educational activities, which are functional, interactive, and inspiring. Apart from the main reading room, there is also a cafe, computer corner, and a discussion area as a means of supporting the library. Circulation between rooms is radially shaped following the middle void.

The semi basement floor utilizes land that slopes down from the road, with connection ramps. Because of its private character, the semi basement floor becomes a special floor to serve consultations for childbirth, childbirth, and basic care after childbirth. The first floor, which is as high as the street, is used for more public and public services.

Building a villa on land in the middle of the city has its own challenges. Villas, as a place of rest, recreation and relaxation must be able to offer privacy and a comfortable layout for their owners. With land in the middle of the city, the villa design is required to be able to create its own villa because the surrounding environment cannot offer a beautiful view. Therefore, Rejuva is designed with three indoor gardens that are integrated into an extension of the living room, foyer and bedroom. Apart from that, the water element is also presented to give a serene and peaceful impression. Housekeeping is placed in the most corner of the site, with easy access in and out of the house, without disturbing the main villa ďŹ&#x201A;ow. The master bedroom has a view and closeness to the pond and swimming pool, while the other two rooms have a view to the swimming pool and direct access to the side garden.

Cascara Apartment is an apartment complex in the Cipayung area. With the concept of TOD (Transit Oriented Development), Cascara Apartment accommodates living, recreational, work, business, and commercial. The front area of the apartment is designed as a very walkable shopping street. Each apartment tower is accommodated by public facilities such as a gym, swimming pool, co-working space, and others. The presence of vehicles is visually minimized by immediately directing the vehicle to the basement parking lot at the bottom of each tower. The area around the tower and central to the master plan was designed as the main greenspace and boulevard.

The incessant development of the start-up business and the limited availability of land have created a demand for a typology of Home-Office buildings that can accommodate the need for operational residences and offices. Apart from the duality of home and office functions, another aspect of concern in this design proposal is the creation of a large space on a narrow area of land with a large number of users with different interests. In order to respond to the increased space requirements due to additional users, a growing house concept was formulated that could accommodate these demands. The house is designed according to the LEGO toy concept, which has the characteristics of stacking and assembling - allowing for future space expansion and playful mass building games. The LEGO concept will also create solid / void spaces that can be used for green space and cross ventilation, as well as clear blocks of space for the division of office and home functions.

Hygen-Living standing for Hybrid Generational Living offers the concept of linking the gap of intergeneration by the mixed-use space, i.e. private, working, and common space and PropTech Mobile App. We will demonstrate you an integrated and compact solution that meet that meet seniors and millennial's needs of a sustainable neighbourhood. Hygen-Ville, within a collaborative mixed-use living space design concept, consists of Residential Tower dan Farming Tower. It promotes essential food supply by merging the Vertical Urban Farming. The housing units of Residential Tower are designed to be a tight-knit neighborhood, encourage social bonds between intergenerational residents by communal spaces. Merging the parted modules as a livingframe of residential tower offers way to enhance the value of spaces' collaborations and show each own authenticity function.

The design values of the houses in Plaju are: (1) Convenient House: all basic necessities are accommodated under one roof, (2) Rejuvenating Space: Each house has access to a private outdoor space, (3) Borderless Living: The living area is made open plan, for a sense of relief and ďŹ&#x201A;exibility of space, (4) Home, as you want it: empty spaces are available that users can use for whatever their needs, such as a home ofďŹ ce, yoga studio, or additional bedroom.
