A LETTER FROM Jerry Sargent

hile we are unable to gather together in celebration this year on the Hyannis Village Green, Citizens Bank recognizes the crucial role W that the arts and the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod play in the social and economic well-being of our community. And so, we gather virtually to experience the arts through the uplifting music of Keith Lockhart and the Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra.

Citizens Bank has been proud to support this event for a number of years and it holds a special place in our hearts. I personally have so many fond memories of the fantastic special guest conductors who have shared the stage—Erich Bergen, Blue Man Group and so many others. This year, we have a very deserving group of honorary chairs that will be recognized for their incredible and often heroic acts on the frontlines of the COVID-19 response. They are the healthcare professionals who put their lives on the line to serve and care for our community over the course of this pandemic. These are family members, friends and neighbors who answered the call and cared for so many loved ones against immense challenges, stress and uncertainty. They are true heroes, and we are so honored to dedicate this event to each and every one of them.
