Clubs and Organizations

AMBASSADORS

Members promote the Academy in a positive manner by assisting at middle school visits, open houses, and Academy tours. Students must apply for acceptance to this prestigious program.

ART CLUB

Using art for good and for teaching others to do the same. Members contribute to and enhance the art program of the Academy.

AMERICAN SIGN LANGUAGE CLUB (ASL)

Students explore the basics of American Sign Language and concerns of the deaf/hard of hearing community.

BOOK CLUB

Students meet to discuss reading selections, compare thoughts on different authorial styles/intents/approaches and discuss them in the larger text of literature. Members suggest texts, lead discussions and embrace a love of reading for personal enjoyment.

BRIDGES OUTREACH

Members participate in service projects to benefit underserved parts of the local community.

CAMPUS MINISTRY

Members participate as altar servers and readers in masses at the Academy. Campus Ministry helps sustain the mission of the Academy by planning religious retreats, prayer services and liturgies.

CHOIR CLUB

Members share their love of singing with the community by providing lively, sacred music performed at Mass and various school events.

DRAMA CLUB / MUSICAL

Students explore the performing arts through a variety of activities. The spring musical allows students to develop performance abilities in musical theater and confidence in their abilities in acting, singing, dance, stagecraft and lighting.

DUNGEONS AND DRAGONS

A fun environment where students can hone writing skills, teamwork capabilities, and creative problem solving strengths.

ECOLOGY CLUB

Spread awareness regarding the current and future conditions the Earth will endure. Members seek to create a more sustainable community which is ecologically conscious.

EPOCH

(Educational Program of Children Handicapped) – Members volunteer as peer mentors in an after-school program for developmentally disabled children at the Madison YMCA.

FASHION CLUB

A welcoming environment for students with a shared interest in fashion. Provides assistance to charities involved in the clothing/fashion industry.

FRENCH CLUB

Explores the traditions, language and diversity of the French-speaking world. Promotes a love of the French language, while incorporating it into a larger society.

KIDS 2 KIDS (K2K)

Members develop lifelong skills through inspiring the leadership of young adults.

KIND CAMPAIGN CLUB

Positively impact school culture where girl-on-girl bullying is not accepted. Students create safe spaces to discuss their own issues with their fellow peers in a non-judgmental setting.

LATIN CLUB

Promotes a love of the Latin language and an appreciation of the Roman culture, bringing aspects of it into larger society.

MENTAL HEALTH AND MINDFULNESS

Members practice a variety of mindfulness activities and stress management techniques, while spreading positive messages to the school community.

MOCK TRIAL

Members learn how to develop proper arguments against other schools in the New Jersey Bar Association Foundation’s competitions.

NATIONAL HONOR SOCIET Y

Applicants are evaluated based on four criteria: scholarship, leadership, service, and character. Chapter members support the academic and spiritual life of the school.

OPERATION SMILE

Operation Smile is a private, not-for-profit volunteer medical services organization providing reconstructive surgery and health care to children and young adults around the world born with cleft lips, cleft palates, and other facial deformities.

PERSONAL FINANCE CLUB

Promotes understanding of various financial concepts and the proper management of finances.

PICKLEBALL SOCIET Y

A fun environment for students to participate in pickleball games.

POLLINATORS COMMITTEE

Embracing values of environmental stewardship and sustainability, members promote student-led initiatives to foster the importance of protecting the world’s pollinators.

PRINCETON MODEL UNITED NATIONS

Promotes leadership qualities by addressing global issues through the eyes of young adults. Members prepare materials for Princeton's Model UN conference.

SEAL

Published annually, SEAL (Saint Elizabeth Art and Literary Magazine) is a student run publication featuring student work.

SPANISH CLUB

Promotes a love of the Spanish language and an appreciation of the Spanish culture while incorporating aspects into larger society.

STUDENT COUNCIL

Members are elected both schoolwide and by grade level. Representatives promote the concerns of the student body by acting as liaisons with school administration, and plan various events to enhance school spirit.

THE BETH STUDENT NEWSPAPER

Through this journalistic platform, members communicate information to the student body. Students learn and grow while reporting on issues important to them in a professional team setting.

TOWARD BOUNDLESS CHARIT Y

Members develop spirituality and minister to those in need by embracing the charism of charity while exploring their inner essence — a heart which beats with love for others.

YEARBOOK

Members collaborate to create the Academy's annual yearbook. Students develop journalistic skills in photography, design, interviewing, writing, marketing, and digital publishing.
