These vingette perspectives give an inside view of what and how the site would feel like when journying through it. The colors on the buildings represent brick material. So a visitor gets lost, the varying brick colors per loaction will help them find there way to their destination.

The longitudinal section is cutting through the entire site closest to Central Ave. The section cut illustrates how to garage looks underneath the site and what the inside of the towers look like. The elevation of the entire site illustrates what the view of it looks like from Central Parkway.

Our target demographic was young families, & workers in Over the Rhine & downtown Cincinnati. We believed these varying bedroom sizes would effectivley cater to our demographics.

Maia did the graphics for the 3D views. I created the 2D plans and the brick details in the circles and 3D views.

Row House This was an individual project that we did. Everyone chose a ‘client’ that they had to do research about on their likes and dislikes. Then we designed a row house in a neighborhood in Over the Rhine. The row house was a concept we looked at before starting our Multi-Family Housing Project. It showed us how to properly lay out a tight space. Also how to design areas based on a person/groups likes or dislikes.

Client My client was Emilio Estevez. After collecting a decent amount of information about him, I had to construct a collage of the main points I have focused on to aid me in my design process. In the collage to the right, I use the 5 black to Represent his family; 3 for his sibilings and 2 for his parents. Family plays an enourmous part in Mr. Estevez’s life. The newspapers show that he is an advocate for sustainable energy and helps promote it through varies mediums. Like movies, books, blogs, etc. The camera represents what he does for a living too. When all of these aspects are combined, they help make up a timeline of the Emilio Estevez. These pieces also helped me design a house that focused on openess, green space, and an area where he could work comfortably in.

Floor Plans On the right, on the first floor, a visitor can walk through the front into an open informal living space. When they continue

On the left side, the vignettes illustrate the feel of the main spaces in the house. While, on the right side, the longitudinal section shows how the ceilings are slanted to help bring in more sunlight to the middle of the row house. It also gives a better idea of the floor height difference between the private office and master bedroom and bathroom spaces. While the transverse section shows the area that is open to below in the kitchen and ceiling thickness on floor 3.

1. Parti Diagram This diagram illustrastes how I programmed my row house. The mint green area is the most

public spaces. The Turquose color represents the area that is semi public. The white dashed block is fully public and acts as a buffer zone between the semi public space and the street. The slate black illustrates the most private parts of the house. Finally the diagonal crosshatch seperates the public and semi public areas and private areas.

2. Shadow Diagram This diagram looks at the different shadow instances that occur throughout the day. This was important in decided which program needed more natural sunlight and which ones did not.

3. Sunlight Diagram I looked at different intensities of sunlight throughout the day. The darker the color, the more intense the light. While the lighter shades represent the less intense sunlight. This helped show that the middle of the house would not be a dark, uncomfortable area to be in.

Landscape Project The landscape project focuses on the multiply variations of thresholds, overlooks, outlooks, seperations and much more. My professor had the class choose two types of activities to focus on. The two activities I chosewere: Archery and Tai - Chi. After selecting our programs, we had to create a space on a given site to

RJTR CO-OP’s 1 & 2 Loew’s Hotel, Memphis, TN Luxury, Mix - Use Structure I worked on this project during both of my 1st and 2nd CO-OP’s at RJTR. During my 1st Internship, I worked on updating the area, elevations, floor plans, and red - lines. On my 2nd internship at RJTR, I worked on converting AutoCAD details into Revit. Then, I worked on construction details, plans, guestroom ADA, sections, redlines, and the drawing index for the Loews Hotel Project. After the Loews Hotel project was placed on hold, I worked with filling out area matrix’s, updating plans, and sections and red lines for a few other projects.

My aunt and uncle are adding cabinets to the kitchen alcove as well as renovating other areas in it. To be able to clearly see how these renovations would look like, I created a mock up of their kitchen and then added and updated things to how they want them to be. After finishing the model in Revit, they have decided on making a couple of the changes shown. Existing kitchen.
