UI Fashion Week is an event under Klub Mode UI, a community where UI Students with the same interest towards fashion gather, share experience, and develop together. The first UI Fashion Week was held on 2012, breaking the assumption that UI students can’t do fashion. Since then, UI Fashion Week has been earning good impressions on each of its event.
One of UI Fashion Week 2016 pre event is UI Fashion Week Model Search. Our aim is to expose new faces of Asian beauty who want to take their first steps in the fashion industry as models. We teamed up with modelling agency Persona Management during this model search pre-event. We conducted two photoshoots in two different theme to search for the faces of UI Fashion Week 2016, where I acted as the Creative Director.
After each photoshoot some of the contestants were eliminated until we got the last 2 as winners. They are Byby Mananggra and Sasha Nurima.
