My family and I consider The Lookout - its open modern design and furnishings, it's beautiful wooded lot, and the enthralling views over Lake Superior - as simply magical. It has replenished and inspired us and we are confident it will do the same for anyone thirsting for serenity. We share in hopes of drawing like-minded friends for many years to come.
This new (completed 2010) custom-designed fully-furnished home sits on a 6-acre wooded granite hill, overlooking Lake Superior from a distance of about 4,000 feetand height of 842 feet. We are in the township of Larsmont, MN (18 miles north of Duluth and three miles south of Two Harbors). The lake is visible over the tree line; wintertime bare trees allow better visibility.
The Lookout has two bedrooms, a great room, a fully-equipped open kitchen, and a large 3/4 bath. Sleeps four people in one queen and two twin beds. There is a folding bed and a couch for guests.
