Welcome! These school-holidays we are offering some great workshops to suit children from ages 5+. Workshops are taking place at 6 Taylor Avenue Golden Beach, on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Class sizes are kept small so make sure you book in early and don’t miss out.

Please note the following: • Bookings are essential! - please contact us by email or phone to arrange a place in a class. (ph. 0411 790 211 e:info@alittlecreative.com.au ) • An enrolment form needs to be completed to attend the class. • Pre-payment is preferred - details for paying by direct deposit are on the enrolment form. Yes, you can pay by cash on the day - but please do not book a place unless you are sure you can attend! • Children need to wear suitable clothing for doing art - art smocks are available, but often children manage to get paint on their clothes somewhere! • Please bring a drink-bottle and snack for your child to have during class (no nut products!) • It is normal for children to be dropped off and left for the workshop - but if a parent wants to stay, just let us know - especially for younger students :-)

Private bookings: A Little Creative Studio is also available for private bookings... You can arrange a private lesson for a group of four or more students or hire the studio space from just $20* - and then purchase any of our group art tubs or individual art-projects for you and your friends. * ($20 for the first hour and then $10 each following hour + materials)

Studio space includes: - large open studio space (approx 3.5m x 9m) with trestle tables and chairs (adult and child sizes) - kitchenette: tea/coffee facilities, bar-fridge. - bathroom with toilet. - toy-box and mats for younger children. - front deck with secure child-gate, and enclosed yard space. - basic art equipment: pencils, crayons, easels, scissors, tapes, glue, etc.

Week 1

(1st April - 5th April) Tuesdays and Wednesdays workshops • These classes will take place at A Little Creative Studio (6 Taylor Avenue, Golden Beach). • Each class runs for 2 hours and children are required to bring along a drink-bottle and snack, all art materials provided. • To suit ages 5+, unless specified. Bookings essential and completion of enrolment form. • Please note: Classes will be cancelled if minimum of 4 participants is not reached, all money paid will be refunded in full. (we will notify you 24 hours beforehand if this is the case)

Tuesday 2nd April 9:30-11:30am Mermaids & Pirates – Make either a mermaid or a pirate wooden-spoon puppet and pirate-ship or other scenery $25 1pm-3pm Jewellery Making – use various materials to make some unique jewellery pieces (eg. paper-beads, ceramic pendants, fabric brooches, etc). $25

Wednesday 3rd April 9:30-11:30am Car design – perhaps a ‘noisy’ and ‘speedy’ class as we explore the world of car design: mixed media drawing, and also some 3D construction to make recycled material cars $25 1pm-3pm Guess Who – start with some portrait drawing and photographic print-outs of yourself, then have fun manipulating these images to create a range of different new ‘looks’ or disguises for yourself! $25

Private bookings: The studio is available on other days of the holidays for private bookings - you can hire the space at an hourly rate and come and do your own artwork, or buy one of our kits. Or arrange for private tuition for a group of 5 or more students (topics can include any of the school holiday topics from these holidays or previous programs).

Week 2

(8th April - 12th April) Tuesdays and Wednesdays workshops • These classes will take place at A Little Creative Studio (6 Taylor Avenue, Golden Beach). • Each class runs for 2 hours and children are required to bring along a drink-bottle and snack, all art materials provided. • To suit ages 5+, unless specified. Tuesday 9th April 9:30-11:30am Cats and Dogs – cat-lovers and dog-lovers will love this class of drawing and making some canine and feline friends $25 1pm-3pm Canvas Painting (self portrait) – paint a fabulous self-portait picture of yourself (or someone else if you bring in a reference picture!) $25

Wednesday 10th April 9:30-11:30am Cross-stitch or button canvas – canvases are not just for painting on! Create a colourful button collage or a cross-stitch design ready to hang $25 (Note: cross-stitch will suit slightly older children, probably 8+)

1pm-3pm Screen Printing – cushion covers – learn the basics of screen-printing and make a fabulous cushion for your bed, or as a gift! $35 (NB includes cushion cover, but not the insert..)

ENROLMENT FORM • Please complete all personal details, plus attach any additional information regarding health issues or custody issues for your child, if applicable. • Mail or email your completed form to A Little Creative. Conditions of Enrolment:

• Enrolments are not secure until this form is signed and payment has been made in full. • Refunds: No refunds will be issued after the commencement of a course. Students who choose to withdraw by giving notice prior to the commencement of the course are entitled to a refund minus a 20% administration fee. In the event that a class is cancelled by A Little Creative due to minimum enrolment numbers not being reached, or payment is received when the class is already full a full refund will be issued. • Credits: No credits are issued for missed classes, unless in extreme medical circumstances and only when appropriate notice is given. • Discounts: Early Bird discounts and some other discounts may apply contact us for details, and adjust your final payment accordingly. • Your personal details will be used solely for the use of A Little Creative and will not be passed on to any other sources. • A Little Creative reserves the right to make photographic and/or visual recordings of all workshops for use in our archives and marketing material. • A Little Creative does not accept any responsibility for any personal property left at the premises; nor does it accept liability for any personal injury, unless such an injury is caused through negligence on the part of an A Little Creative employee. • All students are advised to wear appropriate clothing at the workshops i.e. clothing that can withstand materials being used, protective footwear, artsmock, etc. A Little Creative does not accept responsibility for damage or stains to clothing obtained during the workshop. • Light refreshments may be provided at some workshops - so please advise us of any food allergies in advance. • Please refrain from bringing nut snacks or products to any classes.
