Sustainable Materials

Sleep soundly without damaging the environment. All Sierra Designs bags are constructed with a water-resistant finish that is C0 PFC and all updated bags are constructed with 100% recycled fabrics. When it comes to insulation, we purchase all our down from Responsible Down Standard (RDS) sourced certified suppliers that a consumer can track. For synthetic bags, we use 100% recycled SierraLoft Eco synthetic insulation.

Iso Tested

Temperature rating is of the utmost importance when selecting a quilt. You want to know you’ll have a good experience out in the elements. To give you peace of mind, we’ve ISO tested all of our quilts. This ensures the most accurate comfort and limit ratings to give you confidence when choosing your sleeping bag/quilt.

Temperature Mapping

Warmth matters. So does weight. That’s why we’ve implemented variable insulation to keep you warm where it matters most. This ensures your insulation works the hardest where you need it while keeping sleeping bags/quilts lightweight.

Zipperless

We’ve ditched the zipper and replaced it with an oversized comforter that mimics your bed at home. The comforter seals up with the rest of the bag and keeps heat in due to its oversized nature and integrated hand pockets. Just slip your hand in and pull everything nice a tight around you.

SELF-SEALING FOOT VENT

Sierra Designs sleeping bags feature our patented self-sealing foot vent, to make easy venting a breeze. The foot vent allows you to kick your feet out of the bag to cool off a bit, and seals up when not in use to retain heat on chilly nights.

DRIDOWN™

DriDown™ is treated with a molecular level polymer, creating a hydrophobic finish on individual down plumes. All Pushing The Limits and Pack N’ Go sleeping bags are made with PFC Free DriDown™, and the result is insulation that stays dry longer, lofts better, and dries faster than untreated down.

Pad Lock

Backcountry sleep systems need to be able to change. That’s why we created the Pad Lock, an elastic material that allows for compatibility with any sleeping pad size while preventing you from slipping off of your pad. Pad Locks are securely attached to your stuff sack so you don’t have to worry about losing them.
