Materials 1 skein Caron simply soft E size crochet hook Yarn Needle, Velcro Iron on applique (optional) Gauge is not important for this project. Foundation: chain 6 ROW 1: SC in 2nd CH from hook and next CH. SC2tgthr. 1 SC in remaining chains. End with 5 ST. CH 1 and turn. ROW 2: 1 SC across next 4 ST. CH 1 and turn. ROW 3: 1 SC across next 4 ST. CH 1 and turn. Continue until necktie measures 13 inches long

Shaping ROW 1: 1 SC in 1 the first ST. 2 SC in the next ST. 1 SC in each remain ST. 5 SC ROW 2-11: 1 SC in each ST. ROW 12: Continue in same manner increasing only on the center of row 12, 17, 21, 25. ROW 29: sk 1st ST. 1 SC in next ST. 1 HDC in next ST. 4 DC in next ST. 1 HDC in next ST. 1 SC in next ST. Slst in the last stitch. Fasten off or continue to the optional edging instructions EDGE (Optional) Slst around the entire tie and fasten off NECK STRAP CH 56. SC in 2nd CH from and across remaining CHs. CH 2. On the opposite side of the foundation CH, 1 SC in each stitch. CH 2. Slst in 1st SC made. Fasten Off.


1. Find the center of the necktie. Fold the front and back ends forward into an upsidown U shape as shown in the picture.

4. By rolling the tie inward in step three you have created 2 loops. Insert the neck strap into the top of the loop on the left.

2. Roll the Left side of the necktie toward the center

5. Insert the neck strap into the bottom on the loop on the right.and tighten your knot.

3. Roll the right side into the center.

6. Sew a loop to on the backside.
