Presiding Elder Hudson accepted his call to ministry in 1975 at his home church, Bethel A.M.E. Church, Rome, Georgia. His visionary and perceptive leadership has been demonstrated in all of his pastoral appointments, which include: Bethel A.M.E. Church (Woodbury, Georgia); Bush Chapel A.M.E. Church (Zebulon, Georgia), the church constructed a new edifice; Cleveland Chapel A.M.E. Church (McDonough, Georgia) the church completed a major renovation; Wesley Chapel A.M.E. Church (Rockmart, Georgia) the church constructed an annex; St. Thomas A.M.E. Church (Thomasville, Georgia) the church underwent major renovations; Antioch A.M.E. Church (Decatur, Georgia) the church reclaimed the structure and property for the AME Church; Bethel AME Church (Augusta, Georgia) the church was relocated, and the surrounding property purchased, to provide an area that promoted opportunities for growth and community involvement. As a result, ministries were increased and expanded into the community; St. Mark A.M.E. Church (Atlanta, Georgia) the church was renovated with the construction of an Administration Building and elevator.

Reverend Hudson was appointed Presiding Elder of the South District of the Atlanta North Georgia Conference in June 2014. He was appointed Presiding Elder of the North District of the Atlanta North Georgia Conference in June 2016

His employment career includes being an Adjunct Professor at Paine College, Augusta, Georgia, and Voorhees College, Denmark, South Carolina. He has been a teacher, counselor, and Assistant Director with the State of Georgia Department of Children and Youth Services, Regional Youth Detention Center. He taught secondary school at Boddie Junior High School in Milledgeville, Georgia

Reverend Hudson served in the Armed Services during the Vietnam Era. He has received numerous awards and honors. He was inducted into the Turner Alumni Hall of Fame of Turner Theological Seminary in 2015. He has served with various civic and community organizations, including the Harrisburg Anvil (Augusta), the Minority Advisory Board of WJBF (Channel 6), the Optimist Club (Augusta) and Stoklein Temple –32 Degree Mason (Augusta), and Compass Lodge 160 (Sparta) He is a Charter Member of the Blackstone Shrine Club of Sparta, Georgia. However, his greatest honor is being called to preach the Word of God. Knowing as Nehemiah, “The God of heaven, he will prosper us,” he led the South District – “Rebuilding and Retooling for the Future.” With the Lord’s guidance, the North District will see “The Best Is Yet To Come.”

Presiding Elder Hudson serves as Treasurer and Trustee of the Sixth Episcopal District and the Treasurer of the Trustee Board of Turner Theological Seminary. He is the Fourth Year Advisor of the Atlanta North Georgia Conference Board of Examiners. He has worked diligently alongside others to save and restore the reputation of Morris Brown College – a true treasure of the African Methodist Episcopal Church. He serves the A.M.E. Church at the Connectional Level as a member of the Episcopal Committee of The General Board of the African Methodist Episcopal Church since being elected in 1996 He is also an At-Large member of the Connectional Presiding Elders’ Council

Presiding Elder Hudson has been married to Barbara Clayton Hudson for over 40 years and is the father of three, grandfather of eleven, and great-grandfather of one.

An infectious smile, a calm outward disposition, a fiery demeanor in the pulpit, a willingnes to help everyone, a man truly called by God; all these descriptors fit Keith Donaldson D Lawrence, who was called to ministry and ordained in the African Methodist Episcopal (AME) Church at the youthful age of 18. A native of Trinidad, West Indies, he knew he could reach emPOWERing heights by relocating to the United States to further his education

He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Religion and Philosophy from Georgia State University, Atlanta, Georgia, Master of Divinity degree from the Candler School of Theolog at Emory University, Atlanta, Georgia, and a Doctor of Ministry from United Theological Seminary in Dayton, Ohio

Dr. Lawrence mentored at United Theological Seminary for several years, where his Doct “Effective Church Leadership and Prophetic Preaching in the 21 st Century ” He currently the Doctor of Ministry program at Payne Theological Seminary in Wilberforce, Ohio

Dr. Lawrence’s visionary leadership and guidance have been shared with Rita’s Memorial Indies; St Paul AME Church, Madison, Georgia; St John AME Church, Fairburn, Georgia Church, Lithonia, Georgia In 2003, God gave Dr Lawrence a vision to start a global minis seed in fertile ground and named it Global EmPOWERment Ministries (GEM), “A Ministry without Limits.” GEM is an online ministry.

Dr Lawrence was appointed pastor of First African Methodist Episcopal Church, Atlanta, Georgia, in May 2021, where he continues to follow God’s call to win souls for the kingdom.

Dr Lawrence is blessed to work with his wife and partner in ministry, Reverend Dr Cheryl Nelms-Lawrence, and their daughter Keshona.

Reverend David Luke is the servant pastor of Stone Springfield African Methodist Episcopal Church in Stapleton, Georgia He is married to Mrs Karen Luke and the father of David Jacob and Janis Annette Luke In addition, Reverend Luke is the son of the late Bradley Luke and Lillie Luke.

Reverend David Luke began his undergraduate schooling at Tuskegee University in Tuskegee, Alabama He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theological Studies and continued to receive a Master of Divinity from St Thomas Theological Seminary in Jacksonville, Florida.

In the Fall of 2007, Reverend Luke was appointed pastor of Flipper Chapel AME Church in Milledgeville, Georgia The Flipper Chapel AME Church, under Luke’s pastoral leadership, experienced a move of God that increased church membership and the construction of the Dennis Freeman Community Enrichment Center to support the many outreach ministries that were a blessing to the people of Baldwin and surrounding counties. Reverend Luke has established new ministries and commissions designed to fit the community’s needs Reverend Luke saw a need to assist the people in the church and the community in need of food, shelter, counsel, and financial assistance. He worked with the members of Flipper Chapel to establish a Ministry to Help to cater to those in need. Reverend Luke, a strong anointed leader, has enabled him to take congregations he has served to new and higher levels in God Reverend Luke served that congregation for over ten years.

Pastor David Luke has shown himself to be very visible in the communities he has served His spiritual and dynamic leadership style has been well-received by the membership and the community. The fruit of his teaching is evident in the strong community outreach ministries that include; summer reading camps, community forums, health symposiums, daily prayer lines, food and clothing banks, and other opportunities for “Sharing Christ and Meeting the Needs of the people of God.” of God”.
