OLD MARKS EVOLUTION A SYMBOL OF EXCELLENCE AND AUTHENTICITY
The Quiksilver logo was designed by founder Alan Green and John Law. The cresting wave and snow capped mountain logo symbolize excellence and authenticity. The logo was inspired by a famous Japanese woodcut depicting a typhoon wave and Mount Fuji. Previously the logo has been used with various wordmarks alongside.

Our brand is to inspire people to go outdoors, so we used fluid bars to represent movement, energy and roads.

02 POSITIVITY (STAY CONFIDENT)
To encourage people to challenge themselves through action sports, we made our logo appear powerful and encouraging.

03 NATURE (MOUNTAINS AND WAVES)
Our core part of the brand incorporate waves and mountains. We desired a symbol that nicely represents these traits.

Âť KEY WORD: ADVENTURE
The marks with bars have greater potential to be developed as our brand’s logo. The symbol expresses a sense of forward movement, which indicates adventures and action sports.

Fluid bars and chunky marks compliment each other well, so we wanted to stick to it and add more characteristic on waves and mountains.

LOOK-ALIKE LOGOS WITH CIRCLE, BARS OR FLUID LINES
These are the logos similar to new Quiksilver logo, which has either rounded, fluid or mountain-liked shapes. We wanted to make sure our logo is unique apart from other brands.
