PACKAGING DESIGN Coffee ProjeCt - oolong milk tea
This project aims at using only five geometric shapes to compose multiple design elements for a new Starbucks beverage line. I chose to combine my longtime favorite traditional Chinese tea culture into the popular Americanized bubble tea phenomena for this project. Introducing my new line: Oolong Milk Tea. 10

COLOR THEME: Trying to match the color close to the actual tea leaves, I picked green as primary color and created 2 different schemes to choose from.

TYPOGRAPHY: A combination of san-serif and serif typefaces is my instance choice. This way the design stays cultural yet modern.

BRAND DESIGN: For this new line, I decided to add traditional Chinese calligraphy in to add some exotic fun. I hand wrote the Chinese letter (meaning “Oolong tea”) and traced them through Illustrator. I created the branding badges as part of this whole design but did not use them for this packaging specifically.
