social distancing: Making the Most of Your Time at Home
ately, most of us have been getting very intimate with our homes. Suddenly, all the lines between work, school, and play are blurred and whatever normal activities we can keep up with are being done from the confines of our own walls. Beyond just bringing on the usual symptoms of cabin fever, this also brings about a sort of mandatory refuge from the day-to-day hustle we’ve grown accustomed to. It’s an opportunity for us to re-align ourselves with our curiosity, reignite our creativity. We all have mounting lists of projects we’d like to complete, friends we should call, and books we’d like to read, and

suddenly, not having the time is no longer a valid excuse. Of course, in no way does this mean that you should come out of this pandemic with a completed novel, a newly renovated basement, or a newly acquired language. In fact, it’s perfectly fine to just do nothing during this time, use it as a muchneeded opportunity to slow down, breathe through the uncertainty, and just focus on taking care of yourself.
