Logo

OpenDaylight Project, Inc is a not-for-profit, member-supported project under The Linux Foundation that will foster new innovation and create a more open and transparent approach to Software Defined Networking (SDN). The logo design was inspired by the organization’s name and principles. In similar fashion as the sun rises, and its light reveals what was previously unseen, OpenDaylight’s goal is to provide an open source framework for building commercial SDN products and solutions, founded upon the principles of openness, ethics and transparency. Supported by some of the world’s largest tech companies and development community, which is reflected in the logo as the design also suggests several arrows (or parties) coming together to a central point and joining forces.
