The Sibling Mission…
“I’ve always felt alone”
Jack woke up, where was he? He was unconscious, probably. He tried to get up, but something stung every time he tried to move, he managed a quick glimpse of his leg...blood...everywhere...he couldn't believe-how this could have happened! "Ok, how could this have happened?" He asked silently. "The last thing I remember was...oh, it doesn't matter, it just hurts!" He thought. He was too weak and tired to do anything. He laid his head back down, he couldn't sleep, that's for sure, so he tried to find out where he was, it looked a lot like the countryside, ok, a countryside, that’s pretty peaceful, right? Before he knew it, he was asleep peacefully. He dreamt about his life, he saw himself when he was six, all alone. No one to look after him, his family is all dead because of a fire, all except for his sister. That’s why he was out here, why his leg was wounded; he was looking for his sister. They were separated after their parents perished. He has been looking for her ever since he was nine years old. Suddenly, he was waken, by cold sweat on his forehead, was it sweat? No, it was water! But how did it get on there? Then, he saw her, her brown, long, elegant hair was almost mistaken for chocolate. And her eyes were beautiful and soft, just like Jack’s. She looked like she was 13, but she wore clothes only Pop Stars and Movie Stars should wear, her Chanel hair clip was in two pieces! She might have been spoiled, but she had this humble, gentleness to her expression. Jack knew straight away, he had found her, more or less she had found him, but he had found his sister. Jack was so happy, but his expression said otherwise. He didn’t know what to say, he was literally star struck, or even sister struck,. I wonder if she knows it was her brother. “So, what’s your name, my name is Hailey.” She asked. Well that answered his question. “Shmurfigoc” he said. What was that, he can’t talk? He thought it was because he was too tired, and maybe he was sister struck. So they really couldn’t carry out a conversation, this was not the way he imagined meeting his sister. “Do you know where we are, or have any idea how we got here?” she asked after the longest and most awkward moment of Jack’s life! He tried to communicate with her some more, but it just seemed to make him more tired. His eyes were like elevator doors, they kept opening and closing, (besides the fact that he was blinking.) He suddenly fell asleep again. When he woke up again, his leg was all “patched” up and he didn’t feel so tired anymore. He looked around to say thank you to his sister, and obviously tell her about everything, but…but he couldn’t find her! “Great, I finally find my sister, and now I lose her again!” Jack said aloud, almost screaming. He got up and started to look for her. “Hailey! Hailey! HAILEY! Please come back, I need to say thanks to you, and…”
While jack was going crazy looking for Hailey, she was at a phone booth! She had managed to get in touch with her friend Serena. “This guy, he looks really familiar, like really familiar!” Hailey began. “Well, maybe, maybe you had just seen him somewhere else. Anyway, I got these new Prada Handbags, they are tots cute!” “But I have never seen him before, he just has that face, that I’m sure I’ve seen before, like…like when I was with my birth parents.” “I’m sorry, were you saying something, I was admiring my nails!” Hailey wondered why she was friends with such a shallow being. “And you know the weirdest part, he looked a lot like- like me!” That’s when it hit her, what if her brother was still alive somehow, what if that guy she had just helped, was her brother? Those soft, hurt eyes, just like her mother, and that dirty blonde hair, her father. How could she not have noticed? He was right in front of her! She cut the line to Serena and started hyperventilating. “He was right there, in front of me. I don’t believe it. The only actual real family I had and I let him go! Oh, I am such an idiot!” she told herself. After she calmed down, she asked herself; “What do I do now? Maybe he is still there; maybe we still have a chance to meet each other!” Quickly on the move, she followed her trail, or tried to follow it. After a long 30 minutes of trying to figure out where she was, she managed to find where she was. She followed her own instinct and finally got to the beginning of the "dream" she was having. Hailey looked around for what seemed like forever, but couldn't find him, he was gone, again. She had finally got the chance to meet him, and she lost him. It was like when a kid loses something, (or in Hailey's case, someone) really special, but you know, that it is gone, forever. That feeling was sure to haunt her, for the rest of her life. She imagined what it might be like to have her brother with her just that made her feel-almost guilty. Just to make sure she wasn't in a dream, she pinched herself, nothing happened, that stinging pain in her heart was still there and getting stronger. Hailey immediately broke into a cry and shriek. “Hey.” Said a broad voice. She looked up, then there he was, his face was muscular and his his scar was scary, yet warming. There he was, her brother once again in her possession.
