Doti o sabah erkenden kalktı. Çok heyecanlıydı.
Çünkü o gün, ilk defa bale okuluna gidecekti.
Doti woke up early that morning. She was excited. Because, she was going to the ballet school for the first time.
Hemen annesine koştu ‘Annecigim, Hadi! bugün benim bale günüm’ dedi.
Doti ran to her mother saying ‘Mother, it is my ballet day today’
Kahvaltıdan sonra güzelce ellerini yıkayıp, dişlerini fırçaladılar.
After breakfast, they washed their hands well and brushed their teeth.
They got ready together. Birlikte hazırlandılar.
Artık yola koyulma vakti gelmişti. Paltolarını giydikten sonra, içinde bale kıyafetlerinin olduğu çantayı da alarak evden çıktılar.
Now it was time to hit the road. After putting on their coats, they took the bag with their ballet costumes and left the house.
Ballet School
Bale okuluna vardıklarında Doti koşarak içeri girdi. Önce üzerini değiştirip bale kıyafetlerini giydi.
Sonra da sabırsızlıkla dersin başlamasını beklemeye başladı.
When they arrived at the ballet school, Doti rushed in. First, she changed and put on her ballet clothes. Then, she waited impatiently for the class to start.
Bale stüdyosuna girdiğinde ilk gözüne çarpan her tarafı kaplayan pırıl pırıl aynalar oldu. Öğretmen ‘Merhaba arkadaşlar... Ben Ada Öğretmen. Sizi balenin büyülü dünyasına davet etmeye geldim...’ dedi.
As she entered the ballet studio, first things she noticed was the shiny mirrors. Teacher Ada introduced herself and said ‘I invite you to the enchanted world of ballet’.
Doti, yeni öğretmenini görür görmez sevmişti.
Kim bilir, Ada öğretmen ona ve yeni arkadaşlarına neler öğretecekti?
Heyecanla öğretmeninin söylediklerini dinlemeye başladı.
Ardından, Doti ve arkadaşları, öğretmenlerinin gösterdiği hareketleri yapmaya başladılar.
Doti liked her new teacher as soon as she saw her.
Who knows what Ada was going to teach her and her new friends? She began to listen to what her teacher was saying with excitement. Then, Doti and her friends started to do the movements that the teacher showed them.
O gün, birkaç temel bale hareketi öğrendiler. Ders boyunca, müzik eşliğinde hareketleri tekrarladılar.
Annesi de gururla Doti’yi izledi. Doti’nin baleyi sevmesi onu çok mutlu etmişti.
That day, they learned a few basic ballet movements. Throughout the class, they repeated the movements to the music. Her mother watched Doti with pride. She was very happy that Doti liked ballet.
When the ballet class was over, Doti said goodbye to her teacher and her friends and left with her mother to go home.
Baleyi, öğretmenini ve yeni arkadaşlarını çok sevmişti... Daha şimdiden bir dahaki dersi iple çekiyordu bile...
Doti eve koşup babasına bale dersini anlatmak için can atıyordu.
She loved ballet, her teacher and her new friends...
She was already looking forward to the next class...
Doti couldn't wait to run home and tell her father about her ballet class.
Doti ile annesi eve vardığında, babasının işten dönmüş olduğunu görünce çok sevindi.
When Doti and her mother arrived home, she was delighted to find that her father was home from work.
Bir çırpıda babasına baleyi, öğretmenini ve arkadaşlarını anlattı. Babası da, haftaya gelip Doti’yi bale yaparken seyredeceğine söz verdi.
She quickly told her father about ballet, her teacher and her friends. Her father promised that he would come next week and watch Doti do ballet.
Doti, banyosunu yapıp, dişlerini fırçalayıp, güzel rüyalara dalmak üzere keyifle yatağına girdi... Rüyasında ne mi gördü? Onu da siz tahmin edin...
Doti took her bath, brushed her teeth and went to bed, content to dream beautiful dreams... Can you guess what she dreamt about?
