ABOUT THE FIRM

Alphachain Traders is a proprietary trading firm founded with a vision of combining strategy, innovation and technology to succeed in today’s global markets. Alphachain Traders focuses on the development of our new traders.

Alphachain Traders trade a variety of investment funds, predominantly in the Cryptocurrency market, managed by our CEO Adam Haeems The strategies are deployed both directly on-chain for performance transparency while also on exchanges across futures and options. Strategies deployed are a mixture of both systematic and discretionary trading strategies Our Funded Traders trade across various global markets including Equity Indices, Forex, Commodities and Cryptocurrencies

In 2022 we funded over 500 traders across 67 countries, issuing $4 7m in funded trading accounts to our traders We have an open and collaborative culture among our global trading team and encourage the flow of knowledge and ideas across all areas of the firm

New traders receive direct support from our CEO, Trading Psychologist and trading mentors to ensure they are developing at the rate required to become confident funded traders Our programmes suit those who are able to work both independently and with others to develop ideas and market analysis, integrating them into our company ethos, trading strategies and systems.

Adam Haeems | Chief Executive Officer

Adam has a Master of Finance (MFin) from Cambridge University (Judge Business School) and is an experienced institutional futures trader

Adam has traded fixed income futures for Bank of America Merrill Lynch before becoming a cross-asset futures trader for a $1bn global macro hedge fund (Quality Capital Management) Adam is an experienced cryptocurrency trader having recently managed a $20m cryptocurrency portfolio for BABB Group ltd.

Pedro Silva | Senior Market Analyst

Pedro is the Senior Market Analyst and Programme Coordinator at Alphachain traders. He brings on board over a decade of experience as a market analyst and trader in different assets such as; Forex, Indices, Commodities and Crypto

His passion for the financial markets led him to become an expert in top-down price action analysis, particularly in forecasting long-term reversals in the market

Pedro is qualified with a MSc Finance from ISCTE-Business School and holds a certificate of the Microstructure and Trading Program from the University of Delaware, USA

William | Trading Psychologist

Ron William, CFTe, NLP, is a market strategist, educator/mentor and performance coach; with +20 years of experience, working for leading economic research & institutional firms; producing macro research & trading strategies He specializes in blended, top-down, semi-discretionary analysis, driven by cycles and proprietary timing models

PROGRAMME OVERVIEW

The programme is an immersive and structured three month vocational training provided to new entrants who are aiming to start a career as a funded proprietary trader with Alphachain Traders.

The programme gives a unique opportunity for talented individuals to develop in-depth knowledge and practical experience trading live capital in a leading proprietary trading firm.

Its content provides a combination of strong foundational education with expert mentoring and live web classes from experienced senior traders

Candidates accepted onto the programme receive a guaranteed $20,000 funded account to trade live funds and begin a career as a prop trader with Alphachain Traders.

We offer complete transparency in targets, capital allocation and incentives

All traders are independent contractors and have freedom in how they work and where they work as this is a remote position

The programme will suit your lifestyle as you can trade from the comfort of your own home.

New traders will train alongside other candidates as part of a cohort, learning and developing skills in a fast-paced environment

Junior traders will explore trading opportunities, analyse risk and reward, and develop trading strategies whilst attending live webinars and participating in team meetings This will enable them to rapidly progress and gain trading responsibilities.

The Trader training is completed via our virtual learning portal remotely.

You will cover the following topics; Fundamental analysis with a focus on macroeconomic drivers and figures, technical analysis covering both primary and secondary indicators, money management with trading risk management and develop a good understanding on how to minimise psychological biases impacting your trades

You will be guided and mentored by traders with allocated slots to observe a trader

There will be regular trading competitions to test your application of theory and group tasks to partake through presentations and whiteboard work.

Our trading team will provide weekly market analysis webinars, market reports and 1-2-1 trader consultations.

STAGE 1 OBJECTIVES

Month One Objective:

To achieve an understanding of the markets you will be learning the theory with Introduction to trading and market terminology through our learning portal while applying these concepts within a demo trading platform

By the end of week one, you will have: obtained an understanding of global financial markets and a good foundation in technical analysis

You will know how to independently apply technical tools to form trade ideas and apply good risk management while selecting technical tools to use going forward

Month Two Objective

Development and application of strategies, you will learn the how to execute our strategies Your trading will become more structured and tailored to how you see the markets by learning and testing our strategies and select indicators to form your own strategies. By the end of week two, you will have: familiarity with all trading techniques applied with selected strategies to focus on based on your trading style Be able to understand fundamentals and how macro data releases impact market prices.

Month Three Objective:

Ability to implement the full trade process and develop a higher level of understanding for the selected strategies by carrying out back tests while forward testing Address any shortfalls of your knowledge and strategies with your mentor By the end of week three, you will have: Reviewed how your selected strategy works in different market conditions and have statistical evidence based on historical data of success rate and probability Created a trade plan which includes your strategies and personal goals.

Development of consistent and profitable trading approach Increase your understanding of asset class inter-dependencies and market correlations Work to proactively address mistakes highlighted by your mentor. Be guided to achieve a positive week within the competition By the end of week three, you will have: familiarity with managing trades with correct position sizing and exposure The ability to incorporate trade and risk management techniques while utilising full size positions to allow maximum exposure to be allocated

STAGE TWO (LIVE TRADING)

You will be assessed on a live trading account which will allow us to gauge how you perform with real emotions involved and market price fluctuations impacting your trades.

A trade mentor will be by your side for support with on-going development and reviews of your documentation

STAGE TWO OBJECTIVES

To develop a consistent and profitable approach to trading on a live $20,000 account, whilst adhering to the defined risk limits Build into risk and maximise your exposure across defined tradable assets

Regular mentor sessions will keep you focused to maintain high standards while providing guidance on areas of development from reviewed documentations of trade journals, blotter and statistics.

By the end of reaching target, you will have: achieved a high level of macroeconomics, market behaviour and technical analysis knowledge Build an ability to handle the psychological challenges of decision making whilst under pressure. Now that you have built consistency and confidence trading a funded account, your aim is capital growth by achieving each capital stage targets. This will require you to maintain top performance on large account sizes You will need to quickly get used to trading large monetary values. There will be psychological biases impacting your trading and a trade mentor will be there to help define nonmonetary goals and areas of development to break through plateaus You will have: Candidates are now able to operate as a fully-fledged proprietary trader. ASSETS TRADED

Junior Traders will begin to analyse various charts using Tradingview and MT4 charting platforms to identify patterns and trading opportunities with the goal of placing profitable trades which are aligned with the parameters set out in your bespoke trade plan Capital will increase based on your trading performance and achieving the defined targets whilst successful completion of trader terms and guidelines

Traders are able to trade a diverse choice of assets

The asset classes that can be traded fall under the categories of;

We offer over 100 tradable assets with institutional spreads and commissions.

All traders will use MT4 as their execution platform with a 100:1 leverage.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Good quantitative skills are preferable but not essential

Excellent attention to detail with excellent organisational skills

Basic understanding of financial markets

A degree in a quantitative subject is preferable but not essential

Comfort in fast-paced environment

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

Our training programme has been accredited by the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) awarding body and is regulated strictly with regular inspections to ensure the programmes meet the quality levels They also ensure that the resources used in the programme are highly regulated and meet the right standards. Upon successfully completing all programme requirements a certification is achieved

SO, WHAT IS CPD?

So, what is CPD? CPD stands for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and is the term used to describe the learning activities professionals engage in to develop and enhance their abilities. It enables learning to become conscious and proactive, rather than passive and reactive.

CPD combines different methodologies to learning, such as training workshops, conferences and events, e-learning programs, best practice techniques and ideas sharing, all focused for an individual to improve and have effective professional development. There are over 1000 institutes & professional bodies across the UK, a number that is forecast to increase

GLOBAL TRADER PROGRAMME HIGHLIGHTS

As a Junior Trader at Alphachain Traders you will be allocated a guaranteed $20k starting capital

Junior traders who undergo the training will join a new cohort of traders and receive guidance via webinars, direct outreach and mentoring consultations

Junior traders undergo weekly discussions and tasks in order to assess their performance and help refine their trading

This is not an employed or salaried role.

Monthly sessions with a mentor assessing their performance and help to refine their trading

Once the initial 10% target is met, capital is doubled to $40k, doubling each time a 10% target is met thereafter You can be managing a large amount of capital in a short space of time by showing consistency in your trading

Candidates can book Mentoring sessions based on on-going schedules directly

The role is flexible with no set working hours required. What’s important is that our traders reach their weekly and monthly targets. We understand that some individuals perform better at certain times of the day or prefer to trade certain time-zones We aim to foster a collaborative and empowering culture to ensure our traders are always performing at their best.

Trader membership is required if the trader wishes to continue as a live funded trader after the training programme. The membership fee covers the ongoing costs associated with trading such as capital, platform access and datafeed We provide institutional commission rates via our connection to a pool of liquidity providers whilst ensuring regular platform and community management and administration tasks. You will receive the added benefit of having access our community portal, webinars and team meetings
