TORRE DOS CLÉRIGOS The highest tower in Portugal, measuring 76 meters and 240 steps. In baroque style created by Nicolau Nasoni, it was built in the 18th century by the Brotherhood of Clerics. Enjoy a spectacular panoramic view of Porto from the top of the tower.

ESTAÇÃO S. BENTO Built in the early 9th century over the ruins of the old convent of São Bento de Ave Maria, it preserves an aura of melancholy and antiqueness that characterises the city of Porto. Inside, a magnificent hall decorated with over 20,000 tiles that portray the history of Portugal.

Like a walk along the Avenida Brasil to the pergola of the Foz on a Summer night, this cocktail transports us to tropical rhythms, hot and flamboyant colours. The perfect balance with notes of wine for an outstanding aftertaste. An appetiser, although its robustness makes it attractive throughout the night.

PÉRGULA DA FOZ The Pergola at the Foz is a cement pergola balustrade built between Praia da Luz beach and the gardens on the Avenida de Montevideu. In 1930, the pergola was included in an Improvement and Embellishment Project of the Avenida do Brasil. The project was awarded to António Enes Baganha, one of the most important artists of his time in this area for a total cost of 53 thousand escudos.

An icon of Port Wine and the Douro River, the Rabelos are unique boats. A cocktail that does not carry casks, but rested in them to absorb the complex and deep character that distinguishes it. Ideal as a digestive, with high alcohol content.

BARCO RABELO The Rabelo is a traditional Portuguese vessel, typically used on the Douro River to transport barrels of Porto from the Alto Douro region (where the vineyards are cultivated) to Vila Nova de Gaia - Porto (where the wine is stored and, later, marketed and exported).

PALÁCIO DE CRISTAL The Palácio de Cristal opened in 1865. Inspired by the Crystal Palace of London, English architect Thomas Dillen Jones designed the palace in granite, iron and glass. It is 150 meters long and 72 meters wide, and is divided into three naves.

Just as the Luis I bridge is the city’s top symbol, this cocktail is the ex-libris of all creations by Mixologist Pedro Paulo, guaranteeing him the award for the UK’s top cocktail in 2013. A well-balanced cocktail with a full-bodied aftertaste of spices and citrus fruit that is perfect for any occasion.

PONTE LUIS I The city’s greatest symbol, the Luis I bridge was designed in the late 19th century by a disciple and employee of Eiffel, Engineer Teófilo Seyrig. It is a good example of castiron architecture. It has two bridge decks that link Gaia and Porto, suspended by a large arch and five pillars.

LIVRARIA LELLO Founded in 1906, Lello is a bookstore of its time. Today it bears an heritage over a century old, imbued in the architectural space and the knowledge of the books that are part of the experience of visiting this place.

The perfect balance between bitter, sweet and citrus, like a pedestrian walking along the City’s most impressive avenue, between traditional buildings and the modern design of the two greatest masters of modern architecture. An appetiser cocktail served in an intriguing copper mug.

AV. DOS ALIADOS Located in downtown Porto, it is the city’s most important avenue, built as a tribute to the allied countries in the First World War. It was drawn in the early 19th century by Barry Parker and erected by the architect Marques da Silva. In 2006 it underwent extensive refurbishment, as designed by architects Siza Vieira and Souto Moura, who gave it its current configuration.

A cocktail wrapped in smoke of the Elder tree which transports us to foggy mornings on the slopes of the Douro River, with the golden colours of dawn reflected in the deep blue water. A hot and mysterious drink to taste complacently on cold, grey days.

DOURO VINHATEIRO Miguel Torga said Douro is “an excess supply of nature”. The river of the Alto Douro wine region that is classified as UNESCO World Heritage is born in Spain and enters Portugal near Barca d’Alva. At the end of almost 927 kilometres, river meets ocean by the cities of Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia.
