Quality footwear since 1947 Who we are Alpina is the leading Slovenian producer of everyday and sports footwear that combines refined design, real comfort and carefully selected, quality materials. About us Alpina was founded in 1947 as the joint venture of many small shoemakers active in the region since the 19th century. Today we are the leading producer of cross-country ski boots in the world. The company has three production plants for fashion footwear in Slovenia and Bosnia. With more than 100 footwear shops, Alpina is a major footwear retailer in southeast Europe. Alpina features a wide range of women’s footwear styles, available in a variety of widths, all with an emphasis on style, softness and good grip – and all produced in Europe. Most footwear is made from natural materials, some in combination with a membrane. Our Advantages Almost 70 years of experience and excellent customer service – born and bred in the heart of Europe. Sophisticated analysis and comprehensive scanning caters to various foot shapes and assures an equally great fit for all. Natural Materials Alpina footwear is made of quality genuine leather with natural wool linings, so they breathe and remain soft and pleasant to the touch. Made in Europe Production in Europe allows Alpina to respond quickly and to exercise greater flexibility and control over all production – which is clearly reflected in all our footwear.
