Disclaimer This
yearbook was produced entirely by students in a
learning situation.
These
students were responsible for
layout, copy, and picture selection on each page.
Unlike
a lot of schools, our pages were sent to the publisher
“camera ready," which means that all photos copy captions
and headlines (using adobe indesign) were built at school.
Given to the limitations of time and budget, it was our goal
to give fair and equal coverage to all aspects of school
life, August through April, which was our final deadline for a
May delivery. Consequently, any omissions or errors are
purely accidental and are no way intentional on the part of
the yearbook staff, the advisor, or the printer. Finally, every page was proofread before it was sent to the printer.
We
regret misspelled words, missing punctuation, and misspelled names.
We
offer our apologies to anyone affected.
Dedication: Natalie Cochran-Murray

I’ll always appreciate the impact she’s had on me.” -Caroline Steudle “Mrs. Murray has given me and every other student here so many opporitunities to grow as students and people. This is an experience I’ll carry for the rest of my life.”-Rohit Yalamati “Mrs. Murray was extremely dedicated to this student body. Without her wouldn’t have known I was any good at public speaking, nor would I have had the opporituoities I was presentented with.” -Ja’nea James “Mrs. Murray coordinated a ton for my internship program and I’m truly beyond grateful to her.” -Emily Scull “Thanks, Mrs. Murray for the opporitunities.” -Robert Cooper

A note from the editor I’m not sure how to write an editor’s note. I
looked back at past yearbooks for inspiration, but they all seemed to be written by seniors as they reflected over their time at ASMS.
These notes were filled with cliche phrases, like “We made it!” and “Look how far we’ve come! I’m just a junior, so I can’t really look back like that yet. But I can look back at this year that I’ve spent as editor. I came in without any yearbook experience, and I had no clue what I was in for. But as hard as it was, dealing with difficult seniors who wouldn’t turn in their quotes or spending all of my break periods in
Mrs. Day’s office, It was worth it when I got to see the yearbook come together to reflect the amazing year that we’ve all had.
I guess all there is to writing an editor’s note is being a little cliche and reminiscing on a period of time that, when you think about it, isn’t all that long.
But those editors from the past were right: we have come a long way, all of us, from wherever we were before we showed up at
ASMS our first move-in day. And I can’t wait to see how much further we’ll go. - Caroline Steudle
Special Thanks to the asms 2015-16 yearbook staff Chealsea Geter, Lidija Namike, Sophie Dodd, Meghan Liskey, Jamelia Onoya, Hannah Lee, Michelle Ou, Zahrah Abdulrauf, Hannah Adler, Alexa Ferguson, Kelsey Fredelake, Lisa Jackson, Allyson Jones, Veronica King, Nicole Naylor, Kylie Pandolfi, Virginia Spicknall, and Caroline Steudle.
A note from the Graphic Designer Designing the yearbook had its shares of ups and downs. There were moments where I wanted to jump for joy because I was estactic to see it all coming togehter, and there were plenty of moments where I was overwhelmed, Stressed, and about to lose my mind. But, through these moments I can honestly say that this has helped me become a better person, and it’s been my privlege to be able to design this yearbook and the ones to come. -Zahrah Abdulrauf
