Teaching your kids how to snowboard, even at a very young age, is possible but most of all, it’s a lot of fun! COLLABORATIONS Special collabs are what kids are dreaming of ! Again this year, Burton put a lot of effort to please the little ones with special collaboration with Marvel Comics and Disney Frozen. Superheroes like Captain America, SpiderMan and Hulk will be following your children along their journey on the slopes.
2016 HARDGOODS Thanks to the Mini-Grom line, Burton allow the practice of snowboarding at a very young age. Offering the smallest boots of the industry (size 7c / 13.5cm) and tiny 80cm snowboards, Burton help you put kids on snowboards for as young as 2 years-old.
Everything has been designed to facilitate learning : the Easy Rider technology, available on the Burton Chopper, Chicklet and After School Special snowboards, will give them a catch-free and easy ride.

2016 SOFTGOODS The winter to come is a very exciting one in our Youth department! For the boys outerwear collection, Burton is offering an awesome collaboration with Marvel Comics, improved outerwear and an updgraded waterproofing of 10 000mm. Many interesting features, like the Roomto-Grow — which allows you to lengthen the sleeves and legs —, the helmetfriendly hood and the tough knees and seat patches assure our customers that they have a great quality product in hand.
Our team strongly recommend to start shopping for winter gear early: we can already tell you that the choice will be less interesting in November than it is now! With the introduction of The North Face in-store and online, we are now offering a better choice and more products for the tiny ones.

INITIATION With so many great products available, initiating your kids will be a wonderful experience. Don’t hesitate to ask for help by calling our customer service or by chatting with us right on the online store. We test most of the products we sell, and strongly believe there’s no one better than a rider to help another rider!
Snowboarding lessons are also available in most regions. Regardless your kid’s age, the teaching techniques are the same as those for an adult. A lesson with a certified instructor is definitely a great way to begin!
MDXONE Since last season, a new product specifically designed to facilitate the initiation is sold in-store and online. Sylvain Matte, father of a young rider named Maddox, has developed a great system consisting of a tether that combines a backpack and a retractable leash. The MDXONE is already quite popular due to its easy use and practical features!
