This Autumn Maya introduce two new wallcoverings to their collection. Bravado combines the incomparable durability of a US Type III vinyl with the richness of hand painting in a subtle crosshatch pattern. During manufacturing, the paint pools ethereally creating a wall covering with unrivalled depth and spontaneity. Mesa an updated take on the archived Grecian Crystal design first launched in the 1980s. It is inspired by Japanese crushing techniques and the interaction of dye with the peaks and valleys of creased paper. The new realisation is offered in a rich colour palette with a matte, contemporary finish. In addition new colourways have been added to Maya classics; Weathered Walls, Weathered Metals and True Metals. Weathered Walls Left: Bravado
Moore & Giles introduce two new leathers this season. Valdesa - crafted in Italy from New Zealand sheepskin, is one of this season’s most striking standouts. Tanned exclusively from vegetable extracts, it features a unique washing process during tanning that imparts it with a beautiful, authentically aged appearance. This process also shrinks the hides slightly to accentuate their natural grain and add elements of alluring texture to the surface. The end result is a soft and supple leather with a genuine worn-in aesthetic that exudes classic style and timeless appeal. Burnham - casual elegance describes this new leather from New Zealand’s North Island. An aniline leather dressed with wax and oil that is then milled and polished. The tanner’s artistry is seen in the burnished, polished surface that compliments and contrasts with a velvety texture that showcases a luxurious tracking effect that will become more visually appealing with use and wear. The Autumn 2016 Cityscape collection captures the urban landscape within a two dimensional textile form. Design Director Iris Wang and the Brentano design studio were inspired by the senses present within the metropolitan environment - such as the towering skyscrapers, perpetual movement and energetic sounds that pulse throughout any city. The 18 new patterns symbolize society’s kinetic energy while offering a unified balance of residential, hospitality and contract textiles.

Halcyon days are the inspiration for Weitzner’s Autumn introduction of fabrics and wallcoverings. Halcyon’s connotation of peace and prosperity - derived from the mythological halcyon bird said to have the power of charming winds and waves into calmness - perfectly captures the collection’s watercolour hues and pastoral references. It evokes a mood of modern romanticism that is calm yet joyful, tranquil yet carefree. Sonia Left top: Emerson | Centre: Headlines | Bottom: Emma
