October: Momentum to Proceed
This is a new century in a very transformative time. Decisive and authentic leadership is something that many peoples and leaders in the world recognize as a current need for this time in history.
Nobel Peace Prize Medal that will be presented to President Barack Obama as a Nobel Peace Prize laureate.
Communicative English This program is composed of Elementary, PreIntermediate, Intermediate and Upper-Intermediate and Advanced courses taught in twelve levels through which students are expected to develop the four abilities of the English Language: Listening comprehension, oral communication, reading comprehension and written expression. The program is based on a communicative approach of learning a second language. Each course presents topics of great interest to students creating opportunities to generate discussion and promote the development of linguistic and communicative abilities.
It was during October when Columbus first reached this continent and discovered it for the West. Other October celebrations include Hispanic Heritage, Filipino American History, Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender History, and German, Italian and Polish Heritages. This month in American culture ends with the celebration of Halloween. Nicaragua’s Columbus Day is called Día de la Hispanidad (Hispanic Day). Children in school learn about Columbus’ voyages, particularly his final voyage when he arrived to Nicaragua’s Caribbean coast. His fleet navigated through a deadly storm, for which he called the small cape, located few miles north of Bilwi, where he finally arrived safely: Cabo Gracias a Dios (Cape Thanks to God). The world’s history is a vast and incomplete narrative of changes and evolution. The best times have been when civilizations discover guidelines and principles to live a better way. We have never been so close together as peoples as we are now. It’s time for all of us to proceed to meet challenges and build a better tomorrow. The Editor

A very surprised President Barack Obama, in the White House Rose Garden tells the press and the world how humbled he is by the Norwegian Academy’s decision to award him with a Nobel Prize for Peace. A decision that comes so early in President Obama’s term can only indicate that the award is a vow of trust and support.

Children’s
Prep Programs Children learn through their own curiosity CCNN’s prep programs for children have been developed with the main goal of setting a strong foundation in the student’s learning process. This will be the base of understanding more, at a greater pace, in the more demanding levels. Programs in CCNN have been carefully designed with the purpose of integrating activities that encourage and make the learning of a new language an entertaining experience. Students are instructed through methods based on experimentalism and an integral approach to the English language through reading, listening, speaking and writing. The Experimental Method encourages children to make their own discoveries and to advance at an individual pace, through fun class projects.
I’ve found out that they were totally right.
