London Graphics is a project for a supplier of material to the art and design community. Formed in 1973, the company today has grown to four retail outlets and a state-ofthe-art website all specialising in art and graphic materials. Its store in Covent Garden is regarded as a major outlet of its kind, offering unparalleled choice from the leading suppliers of the world.

branding aragón mudéjar logo design
Conceived to represent the image of the 25th anniversary of the UNESCO’s declaration of Aragonese Mudéjar architecture as World Cultural Heritage, this design is inspired by the geometric interlaced eight-pointed star, characteristic ornamental motif of Aragonese Mudéjar. The use of color refers to the brick-earth as material essence of this architecture. The centered typography and composition accentuate the balance of the whole. The anniversary celebration idea is reinforced by fixing a renewed identity, according to the values of sobriety, aesthetic quality and elegance that relate to this ancient monumental heritage. This work won the contest organized by the government of Aragon for that purpose.

This project consists of the design of a logo and a corporate identity manual to ensure the use of the brand in a coherent manner. It combines a series of formal and chromatic values through ​​ which communication of concepts emanating from the business philosophy is optimized. We chose a typeface inspired by models of the early s. XX, based on aesthetic criteria of simplicity and elegance, and the added value of their relationship with the concept of quality. The symbol that identifies the brand refers to the abstract world of sensations, alluding to contemporary visual culture and iconic language introduced by the comic and cartoon film in popular imagery.

Various editorial projects, for which I’ve made both illustration and design job. I’m interested in this kind of integral work, because of the control of the whole page aesthetics. Among the many different types of illustration, I prefer that in which you can apply a poetic or metaphorical element, or a set of conceptgame in the image, but its not always a question of showing how smart you are, but a matter of comunication. The working methodology goes through experimentation in various fields, which leads a varied, perhaps eclectic work, but with a certain convergence criteria supported by a recurrent conceptual approach using common elements.
