MASTERPLAN COMPETITION I UZBEKISTAN Design Architect The Tashkent New City Masterplan vision stands to provide a framework for the expansion of the capital city across the banks of the Chirchiq River and beyond, on a site of 20,000 hectares. The city has been designed for all, as a twin to the existing capital. Tashkent New City will be a self-sufficient collection of communities that will revitalise the Old City to the west whilst bringing renewed strength to the nation, positioning it as a genuine power-house in Central Asia. Standing proudly at the centre point of the Ancient Silk Road, Tashkent will once again become a global trade hub, leading the way as an international benchmark for human settlement, commercial success and sustainable development. Concept View of the different areas of the Masterplan. Views created using the 3D model as a base + post-production in Photoshop. T he intention of this views is giving the client a taste of waht the scheme could look like in the future.

MIXED USE I SEOUL Project Architect / Design Architect Our design vision for Dong Seoul Bus Terminal Modernization Project strives to create a new place that urbanistically links the emerging Songpa-Gangdong district and North district together, replacing what is now a ‘no-man’s-land’ with a vibrant mixed-use complex development featuring shopping, dining, living, travel and entertainments. It will be Seoul’s “Next Great Place” where people will want to live, shop and visit, regardless of whether they are using any form of transit. While also clearly serving as an identifiable Gateway to the City of Seoul for millions of passengers, visitors and local residents.

SHOPPING CENTRE I RIYADH Project Architect / Design Architect Solitaire is an innovative retail development in the heart of Riyadh. The location is well connected both with the airport and the Financial District. Due to the extreme climate, the design is being pushed to create an outdoor comfort space that provides at least 80% of human comfort to be able to gather people for different events and terraces.

Design Architect / BIM Architect The massing of the building has been inspired by the global flow of information. The curve of the skin formed by a series of logarithmic curves evoking a sense of accelerated progress. The shimmering silhouette will de-materialize at the ends, extending the School’s internal energy into the surrounding community and beyond. Continuing the theme of flow, the surrounding context and landscaping continues seamlessly through the central atria as large glass walls blur the distinction between inside and outside. As students and staff flow in and through the innovative, creative and inspirational learning environment the GBS will become a symbolic beacon of learning.

Three level retail and leisure development in the city of Anseong, South Korea. Total GLA is approx. 100,000 sqm. The journey around Starfield Anseong starts in the morning when the sun rises to radiate its warmth on the building and the surrounding landscape. The sun rises and sets as the days goes on, castings its glow across the landscape. The expression of the sunlight on the anchors is unifying and distinct feature.

MTRES STUDIO

Work in BENOY

Design Architect / Intern (Part II) Mtres Studio is an architecture practice based in madrid focused mainly in residential projects and sports facilities across Spain. In the almost 3 years I spent working in this practice, I worked in two residential projects from Concept design to Construction Stage. both buildings were built and finished while I was in the team. It gave me a chance to understand the planning application process and how to deal with developers and consultants. I was also involved as a design architect in several competitions including 2 Europan getting an Honorary Mention in one of them.

Learning from Jyvaskyla , the forest, the lakes, the intangible forces of the earth, the wind, working together with the human insertion. Any environment, natural, rural or urban, can be analysed, monitored, or captured through mapping.

Human beings also relate to their environment throughout their beliefs, emotions and senses. We superpose the antrophic and natural grids to nd the coeisting intangible interstices. Translating that human phenomenology to a physical objects which are part of the city and the landscape.

Final Thesis Project

Final Thesis Project

SUSTAINABLE OBSOLESCENCE Architect (Fully developed) The project, a Media Center located in Hangzhou, China, tries to analyse the growth of the city in the recent years. Its origin is due to the construction of the Grand Canal. I propose an urban strategy that can grow along the years and manage the territory and the city. An open and changing urbanism which controls the urban growth efficiently. The proposed system is intended to interrelate with the immediate context. That is why it uses the water from the Grand Canal to introduce it into the plot to create a new waterwork and secondly, to regenerate growing areas introducing the planting biomass.
