When I was younger i had this night light... It was in the shape of a tea kettle. I remember laying in my bed every night watching the warm, yellow glow before I fell asleep. Something about that night light intigued me because I

Say hello to... "I always ask my students

Anna 4 years experience after school program

where they get their answer. If they don't know, we go back to the reading and look for it."

Robin

"I need something students

6 years expereince

can play with that would

1st-3rd grade

be a follow up to what I just taught..."

Michelle

"Classrooms are getting

3 years experience

larger but there's one

substitute

teacher to all these kids, I can only do so much to help each student."

44

I spoke with them and this is

what I learned...

Due to classrooms increasing in size, teachers are unable to keep track of how each student is progressing. Also, they must take into account that students have different learning capabilities and some may not understand the lesson like the majority of the class.
