Suncoast High School: Riviera Beach, FL
June 2014 to August 2014: Sketched floor plan ideas for space as it was being constructed. Catalogued products to be purchased for the maker space. Ordered products for the maker space. Assisted in the organization of meet-and-greet events for those joining the maker space. Wrote code for the launch website. Brainstormed ideas for website layout and execution.
Architectural Intern, Koutsomitis Architects June 2015 to December 2015: Drafted construction documents. Surveyed various sites for new projects. Conducted research on products to be included in the overall construction budget. Met with the principal architect to review the details of new architectural projects.
Campus-Wide Special Events Coordinator, SGA August 2013 to 2016: Managed all large-scale campus events. Coordinated with other event planning boards on campus to ensure collaboration. Facilitated and funded small-scale event collaborations between student clubs on campus. Brainstormed and implemented new events using student input data. Attended weekly meetings in order to discuss administrative matters pertaining to the student body.
Tutor, America Reads Sept. 2011 to Sept. 2013: Tutored children in the areas of math, science, sustainability, architecture, and music every other Saturday. Pratt Institute: Puerto Rico April 2014: Attended an Alternative Spring Break hosted by Pratt Institute’s Community Service Board. Worked with children at the Boys & Girls Club of Fajardo to complete homework and facilitate both art projects and recreational activities. Painted and restored an old facility for the Boys & Girls Club of Fajardo. Worked with Para La Naturaleza to clean an endangered beach and restore balance to the ecosystem. Met with locals in San Juan and learned about Puerto Rican culture.
Pratt Institute: Rome, Italy January 2015 to July 2015: Completed coursework in Roman Architectural studies. Gained fluency in Italian. Worked in the library on the Rome Campus cataloguing and sorting architectural books.
