Field Researcher for Architecture of Rapid Change and Scarce Resources (ARCSR) under the Water Trust Foundation: Eleonas, Athens [July 2018 - September 2018] - Explored the development of Eleonas to identify the transformation from its reputation of “sacred
olive groves”, small pocket neighbourhoods, to its changing landscape through the industrial growth of transport, main imports and exports throughout Athens. Also interacting with various locals that developed the diversity in Eleonas. This created a base for the research project. - Discovered old, abandoned neighbourhoods, rivers and sunken churches which through drawings we speculated the potential growth of these areas. This opened a mindset of creating opportunities for different neighbourhoods sharing different characteristics. - Created various transect walks, selecting potential sites for the students taking Studio 7 at London Metropolitan University as they will be visiting Eleonas and will be choosing their sites for their project that year. - Produced a section on Eleonas on the Civic booklet for the ARCSR.
Content writer for ARCSR Civic Fit Booklet [September 2018] - Writing and gathering information on the productive landscape, analysis of old and new rivers
across Eleonas, producing a walk through the rivers and a section on a potential site: Old garden Homes.
Content writer ARCSR Civic Way Station: Transitional Home Making at the Edge of Europe Booklet [November 2017] - Gathered observational and survey sketches done by the Metaxougio team. Writing 200 words

Site Analysis - Pedestrian route of Iasonos Street
Home, Courtyard, Language
INITIAL IDEAS Three main elements that sums outline the key aspects of the project’s program. - Locating the courtyard space to where it is open to the high street and the pedestrian route of Iasonos street to heave the public into the courtyard. - Language as the central space where it could be accessed from the courtyard as well as the residential part of the building for refugee residents who are also keen to learn. - Alternate idea: to locate a cafe restaurant in the center as a place to integrate Refugee and Greeks. The cafe/ restaurant would become more private for reside nts in the upper floors. - The accommodation is located to the northwest of Metaxourgio where it is more the residential side of the block.

Architecture of Rapid Changes and Scarce Resources (ARCSR)
Athens, Greece (Eleonas)
Transitional home making on the city’s edge Exploring the development of Eleonas to identify the transformation from its reputation of “sacred olive groves”, small pocket neighbourhoods, to its changing landscape through the industrial growth of transport, main imports and exports throughout Athens. Also interacting with various locals that developed the diversity in Eleonas. This created a base for the research project. The research team discovered old, abandoned neighbourhoods, rivers and sunken churches which through drawings we speculated the potential growth of these areas. This opened a mindset of creating opportunities for different neighbourhoods sharing different characteristics.
