Lyon
Golf de la Bresse
Located just an hour from Lyon and Geneva is Bourg-en-Bresse, a small, charming commune in the Rhône-Alpes region. The 18-hole course stretches across more than 220 acres of unspoiled nature. Designed by the renowned French architect Jeremy Pern, one of Europe’s leading golf course architects, the Bresse golf course is set in a tranquil rural setting, surrounded by forest and agricultural land. The relatively flat course makes good use of the natural terrain, with alternating open and wooded areas and various water hazards, particularly at the 11th and 12th holes. Trees increase the challenges on the second nine-hole loop, particularly on the par-5 18th with its lovely avenue of large oaks. Golfers enjoy this tranquil course with its rural charm, as well as meeting the challenge of the course.
Golf de la Bresse
Golf du Chateau d'Avoise
In the heart of the gorgeous Burgundy wine district, awaits this golf club conveniently positioned 1.5 hours away from Paris and under an hour from the equally historic city of Lyon. The Château d'Avoise golf estate is made up of nearly 300 acres of breathtaking natural beauty, including shady birch groves, towering beech trees, ancient oaks and ornamental lakes. The English golf course architect, Martin Hawtree, designed the technical, high-quality 18-hole course, which opened in 1992 and has been welcoming players ever since. The undulating woodland terrain presents some surprises, as the most challenging holes are not those which players may expect. This quality course, with its exquisite natural beauty, technical challenges, and beautiful views
of the surrounding Burgundy landscape, is a favorite among golfers.

Golf de la Grande Motte
Golf de la Grande Motte
Featuring its characteristic pyramid-shaped buildings situated near the coastal town of the same name, this club is located on the Western edge of the Camargue region in Southern France. This championship course was established in 1987, and was designed by the highly respected and prolific English-American architect Robert Trent Jones Sr. No less than 42 holes await visitors to the estate, which stretches over 220 acres, and features lovely umbrella pines, poplars and extensive water bodies. The 18-hole Flamants Roses (Pink Flamingo) course extends over fairly flat and open terrain, which has been expertly molded to provide a Florida-style seaside golf course feel with plenty of water hazards. In addition to the Flamants Roses course, the club houses the par-58 Goelands course and the 9-hole Mouettes course.
Golf de Servanes
Golf de Servanes
At the foothill of the Alpilles mountains in southern France, the Golf de Servanes club, which opened in 1989, nestles against white cliffs and is redolent with the perfume of Provencal thyme and lavender. It is located only 10 minutes away from the medieval village Les Baux-de-Provence, built around a fortified rocky site, and Saint Remy-de-Provence, where Van Gogh painted his “Starry Night”. Architects Thierry Sprecher and Gery Watine took full advantage of the natural features of the region to create a scenic golf course snaking around the rocky hills of the Alpilles, with a mix of parkland and woodland areas. The 18-hole course features hilly fairways, olive groves, lakes, and two huge, island greens. This golfing jewel of the Provence will delight and challenge players of all handicap levels. This sunshine-drenched course with its unforgettable scenery will soon become a favorite!
Golf Domaine de la Valdaine (Optional)
The golf club has an idyllic location in the heart of the Drôme Provençale region with its famous lavender fields, only 5km from the town of Montélimar, the “home of nougat.” The Valdaine estate, which extends over more than 185 acres of lush greenery, has been landscaped around the two towers of the Château du Monard, which is now a hotel. The 18-hole course was designed by the English architect Tom McAuley, and opened in 1989. He cunningly integrated a stream and other water hazards into the course, along with relatively small greens, requiring dexterity and precise shots from golfers. Sharpen your skills on the driving range (22 tees, 12 of which are covered), as well as on the putting greens and practice bunkers. Players of all levels can test themselves on the immaculately maintained course while drinking in the Provençal sunshine and the delicate perfume of the lavender fields.
