Our story begins years ago when a young Amy Howard realized that our environment truly can inspire our lives. Creativity became her true north as she embarked on a career to rescue, restore, and redecorate... both homes and hearts. Through A Makers’ Studio, Amy guides the contemporary creative woman in building a business that uses her hands, her heart, and her head to make a difference in the world. A Makers’ Studio is the culmination of Amy’s decades-long commitment to providing everyone the opportunity to craft a beautiful life. This might mean creating the home of your dreams, owning your own business, or using your love of making to develop others’ crafting skills and ability to provide for their families. We believe that you have the creativity and drive inside you to design your own version of a beautiful life… and lead others to build both meaningful community and creative businesses. We believe that you can be the expert – and we will teach you how. Behind our mission of unleashing creativity and potential in your community is a deeper cause that is close to all of our hearts. Nearly 25 million people and children around the world are victims of human trafficking. In order to be real Difference Makers in the world, A Makers’ Studio has partnered with several organizations that work to end this heartbreaking practice. Our goal is to bring awareness to human trafficking so that women and children can be safe, can be home, and can craft a beautiful life for themselves and others, too. Meet Amy Howard After developing easy-to-use, professional DIY product lines and helping countless people rescue and restore things from the past, Amy Howard wanted to provide women around the world with the same opportunity. A Makers’ Studio is her way of giving back as the guiding light for creative souls who want nothing more than to build a business out of their heart for making. Makers need mentors, and Amy provides the wisdom and grace to support each Maker in becoming an empowered creative entrepreneur without repeating her mistakes along the way. Amy’s business model helps you gain clarity and focus while developing as a leader and artisan. To help combat slavery at its source, we have partnered with the Human Trafficking Institute. PALMER HOME A Makers’ Studio is the main contributor funding Palmer Home’s new division for trafficked children, which includes 4,000 beautiful acres of land in Mississippi and counseling to make the transition into a new life possible.
