Abu Dhabi Airport Welcomes 1.5 Million Passengers in Just One Month Abu Dhabi Airport becomes a global hub of the Middle East for passengers around the world. Abu Dhabi International Airport witnessed a 14.5 percent increase in customers in January this year as compared to the same last year. According to a statement, 1.5 million passengers traveled through the airport in January this year. The Aircraft traffic also saw an escalation of 7.7 percent compared to last year, with a total of 11,972 movements, and also an 58,114 tonnes of cargo was managed at the Airport, also achieving an increase of 18.9 percent in equation to January 2013.
