The precinct houses the most significant centers for art production, exhibition and sale in New Delhi, India.

Proposed sunken plaza that unites the entire precinct by allowing a space for people to gather and also have subterranean pedestrian connectivity across the various institutions in the precinct

PUBLIC GALLERIES Art galleries and public exhibition areas face the pedestrian approach to site
METRO STATION
CLIMATIC AND CONTEXTUAL RESPONSE
Underground metro Station is the major source of foot fall in the precinct
South and west facing facades have stone jali structures in response to existing stone cladding on Rabindra Bhawan ART WORKSHOP Workshop overlooks the activity area between the exiting and proposed
PIVOT The restaurant and open air theatre form a pivot of built around the void AUDITORIUM Auditorium is located along light traffic road that can accommodate impulse of vehicular traffic at times of an event SUBTERRANEAN CONNECTIVITY
FEROZ SHAH ROAD
Subterranean pedestrian connectivity is proposed at critical nodes along the periphery of circle to support and not replace the surface pedestrian circulation due to heavy traffic on roads during the day
