Put your hair in a pony tail. Especially if you have acne-prone skin. You don't want your hairs oils to get all over your face during the night. Also, it keeps hair less tangled, and keeps you cooler..

Moisturize! This works well if you take showers before bed. Apply lotion (any kind works) to your legs, arms, and back to get smooth, soft skin.

Coat your eyelashes will Vaseline. I recently read that putting Vaseline on your eyelashes each night is supposed to make them grow longer and fuller over time.

Put on lip balm. Putting lip balm on before you go to sleep each night lets the balm soak into your lips, preventing them from getting chapped the next day. TIP: Try using Vaseline as your lip balm. It works great.

Do some stretching. Stretching your muscles helps them be long and lean, instead of short and chunky. Try looking up 'bedtime stretches' on YouTube to find a video with some good poses you can try to make you feel sleepy and ready for bed.

Clean up around your bedroom. Its great having a nice room to wake up too, right? Some people can't sleep if they're room is messy. If you're not one of those people, here iss a tip for you: As the day goes on, put all the things that you need to put away on your bed. That way, you'll have to put them all back to their proper places before going to sleep.

Drink a glass of water. Lots of us aren't drinking the needed amount of water (eight glasses) each day. So make it your nightly ritual to drink one glass before bed, just in case. Write in a journal. This is a really calming thing to do before bed. It lets you get out all your thoughts so you can finally relax and go to sleep without anything burdening you.

Listen to calming music. Make a playlist of slow, sweet songs or try to find a relaxing radio station.

Last but not least, get comfortable! Keep extra blankets near your bed if you think you might get chilly, and place a bottle of water on your bedside table if you are often thirsty when you wake up in the morning
