Amba is an architect, graduated from School of Planning and Architecture, Delhi. She has always been a keen observer, trying to identify patterns in our everyday lives and our relation to our cities. She has actively volunteered for many social projects, engaging with the community at the grass-root level. In her academic and professional works, she tried to explore urban systems and practices that have overlooked the strength of local practices and participation. She is motivated to analyse and document everyday patterns that define a collective cultural identity of a city.
She seeks to correlate the diverse urban challenges and explore multidisciplinary design solutions to (re)design 2nd and 3rd tier cities as concrete local projects with global reach.
