BIRMINGHAM DOOR-TO-DOOR (BD) serves all of Alabama with one-way or roundtrip reservation-based shuttle service to the Birmingham airport. GREYHOUND BUS (GB) provides nationwide, intercity bus service to/ from Opelika, Alabama. GROOME TRANSPORTATION (GT) offers reservation-based shuttle service with 12 round trips daily between Auburn and Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. ZIMRIDE AUBURN (ZA) connects Auburn friends and classmates to set up one-time or regular carpool rides. Requires Auburn affiliation for participation.

GETTING AROUND AUBURN BIKE

For a low-carbon and healthy way to get around try biking. PERMIT your bike through Parking Services. A HELMET & LOCK provide safety for you and your bike. SHOWERS for bikers can be found around campus. BIKE RACKS on all Tiger Transit buses make it easy to combine sustainable transportation modes. The BIKE SHOP & MAINTENANCE CLINICS run by Auburn Outdoors can help you keep your ride in road-ready condition. GOTCHA BIKE provides FREE 24-hour rentals

CAR SHARE

For those times when you actually need a car to get where you’re going, consider sharing. ENTERPRISE CARSHARE provides members 18 and older access to cars located on campus for hourly, daily, or weekend rentals. Yearly membership costs $35. Rental rates include gas and insurance. ZIMRIDE AUBURN provides an online portal for arranging regular and/or one-time carpools. Users must be affiliated with Auburn University.


GETTING AROUND AUBURN

TIGER TRANSIT

offers students FREE bus service to destinations on and off campus. Over 15 lines operate 7 am—6 pm, and provide off-campus drop-offs 6 pm –10pm (9 pm summer). As a special service, Friday evening trips alternate between Walmart and TigerTown. Student Government Association helps support the Tiger Ten routes, which provide service on Friday and Saturday 10:30 pm –3 am on 8 routes departing from Downtown.

CAMPUS SECURITY SHUTTLE

offers a safe ride from any on-campus destination to any other oncampus destination 6pm-7am.

GOTCHA Ride

gives FREE rides in all-electric vehicles to destinations on and off campus. You can hail a ride or call for pick-up. Just be sure to give your driver a tip!

LEE-RUSSELL PUBLIC TRANSIT

provides dial-a-ride curb-to-curb service for FREE to Auburn students, faculty, and staff to anywhere in the Auburn/Opelika area. Fares for destinations outside the vicinity range from $3–$6 one way and can take you all the way to Phenix City. Operating hours: M-F 6am-6pm. Trips may be scheduled up to 2 weeks in advance, but must be scheduled at least 24 hours prior.
