The Importance of a YouTube Channel for Your Music Business: Tips for Video Sharing Success
Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest. We all know that
social media marketing is the way forward. But if you’re involved in music, there is really only one social network you should be using. YouTube is booming in popularity - 3 billion hours of video are watched every month – so if you’re not sharing videos, you’re missing out. Whether you’re a musician, mogul, or marketer; your music business should have a YouTube Channel. It’s free to sign up, easy to fill out your profile, and you can get sharing video content in a matter of minutes. Sharing your content with audiences the world over has never been easier. Why Get a YouTube Channel? In a world where record companies have been replaced by independent musicians, YouTube is playing a vital role. Hundreds of singers, such as Justin Beiber and Esmee Denters, have bagged a record deal after being scouted on YouTube. Video content is perfect for the fast-paced World Wide Web. It is shareable, relatable, and easy to go viral. So even if you’re not an aspiring singer, you can still promote your musicbased business with a YouTube channel. Like many other social networking sites, you can also interact with your audience. People who view you videos can leave comments, ‘like’ and ‘dislike’ what they see, and share the video with friends. This gives you a great platform to communicate with the people who will be buying your products.
5 Tips for Video Sharing Success Sharing a video online is really easy. Not only can you put your video on YouTube, but you can embed it into blog posts and share on your other social media profiles. But putting the content ‘out there’ often isn’t enough to make an impact. If you’re a YouTube newbie, we’ve compiled a number of top tips for video sharing success. Whether you’re looking to go viral, or just share something with your loyal fan-base, these are some tips you should follow: 1. Brand Your Channel You customise your Facebook fan page, and Twitter profile. You should make sure you take the opportunity to brand your YouTube channel. Walmart is one company who’ve really taken advantage of the customisation features. Keeping a consistent brand identity across all your social media pages is a great way to make you instantly recognisable. If you’re a business or an artist, you need to stand out from the crowd. Making your channel stand out is one of the ways to do this. 2. Sharable Content The key to YouTube success is uploading videos that people will share. Upload content that people want to see, and you’ll be able to reap the benefits. If you’re an artist, why not upload a cover of the ‘song of the moment’ to help raise your profile? If you’re selling instruments, make your promotional videos interesting. Relate them to something current, and put your own unique spin on them. Whatever your role in the music business, make sure the content you put out there is unique, exciting, and entertaining. Sept/Oct 2014

Walking Dead’s Vincent M Ward
Evolving in the Hollywood Dream! Ambizion Magazine: Where does your inspiration come from?
Vincent:
Ambizion Magazine: When did you realize your talent?
Vincent: When did I realize I had talent? I’ve always entertained people growing up playing basketball and dancing in a rap group...I’m still trying to see if I have talent because I’ve set the bar so high for myself because my goal is to win a Oscar. So I will say I’m talented by sticking with this very hard career and not giving up by being patient...Patience is a talent that’s practiced every day and if you don’t have that you will never accomplish the goal
My inspiration comes from believing in GOD; wanting to take care of my parents, my kids and my 4 grand kids...I want to leave something for them. I just want to a positive role model, Christian, father, son, uncle, grandfather, example and native to my little city of Dayton, Ohio. I want to show that with hard work, dedication and drive you can make it without selling drugs, gang banging, selling your soul that you can be successful
Ambizion Magazine: Who are your dream actors to work with?
Vincent: I don’t really have a dream actor to work with because I would work with anyone...I just want to work and do a good job doing it... Sept/Oct 2014

I just want what I deserve and what the man above has for me...
Ambizion Magazine: What is Your Ambizion (Your Legacy)?
Vincent: My legacy..I just want to be known as a hard worker that waited his turn, respected all directors, producers, conventions, magazines, crews and cast no matter how big or "small" they were. Family man... A man who fell several times but always got back up stronger... A man who never thought about acting but once I was bit by the acting bug, strived to someday be one of the best in the game...Never compromised himself

What is Passion? What is passion? Recently after a presentation, I was once again thanked for my passion. The compliment was genuinely given, as was my returned thank you. However, as the day progressed, my thoughts kept returning to passion. What really is passion? For the next several days as I attempted to ponder this question, other questions surfaced. What does it mean when one has passion? What separates people with passion and those without passion? Is passion always positive? Could passion be negative? Is there a relationship between passion and purpose? How does this fit me? Sometimes the best place to begin to define a word is with Webster. Webster’s dictionary states that passion is an emotional response. Being an intellectual conceptualizer or more simply stated a heurist, I wrote down 3 words – passion, performance and purpose. Consider the following: imagine someone standing with out stretched arms and open hands with one hand holding the word passion and the other holding the word purpose. What I would like you to consider is that passion is the present where others as well as ourselves see our emotions. Purpose is the future, our true north, where we constantly strive towards to reach our vision. And the performance is the individual with the outstretched hands. Performance is the collection of all past experiences and current actions where we continually apply knowledge as we hold true to our passion and purpose. Passion exists with our purpose and performance as a partner to help achieve the present and the future that we desire for our businesses, our families, our friends, our communities and ourselves. Now envision yourself as that person of performance. Visualize what your hands are holding. What fills the hand holding your passion? What do you see in the other hand holding your purpose? Keep that vision bright in your mind’s eye. Perform each and every day with a clear focus on realizing both your passion and your purpose.

Lisa Nicole: I have several businesses I made my money in Direct Sales with a company called 5LINX I’ve been in the Direct Sales Industry for 10 years and that’s where I made my first million. I took the money that I made and invested it into other businesses such as Elite Strategies which is a signature marketing firm that works with small businesses to help them have a big business brand. We help them in areas such as legal contracts, taxation strategies, organization, development of policies and procedures. Marketing, social media, web site development, accounting you know all of the different things that a business needs to successfully operate and we even have experts that teach people how to go out and raise capital for their business and that company falls under the brand Elite Signature Group. I also have The Lisa Nicole Collection which is a clothing line for today’s professional woman. The clothing line is sleek and sheik and sophisticated and it really is for the fashion forward business woman you can wear the clothes in the office and can transition to an after 5 evening setting for networking.
Ambizion Magazine: How were you discovered to become a cast member on Bravo TV’s Married to Medicine and how has the experience been so far?
Lisa Nicole: They asked me to be on the show the first season but due to my schedule I didn’t have an opportunity to cast because I was traveling so second season came around and it was good because I got a chance to look at the first season and they approached me again this time I was available for the casting process and I was selected. business and her community and this is the circle of women I associate myself with so the great thing about Married to Medicine is that you have your balance you have real women, real issues with real life drama and yeah you do have some drama queens on the show but you also have characters like myself and Dr. Jackie who try to not have so much drama and try to be a more positive cast on the show. This show is one of the few shows in the reality TV space where African American women are shown in their careers as mothers and wives who are all married and showing our families. So I think it’s the best example of African American family in the reality spacing and so far it’s been a good experience and I hope the next season will continue to be a good experience. They did call me (chuckles) boring at least Mariah did because she is a little intimidated because I just refuse to get caught up in the nonsense but if boring equates to positive, uplifting and motivational then I will just be that person.

What I would also tell entrepreneurs that entrepreneurship is hard, probably one of the hardest things you will ever do but quitting is not an option because when you quit you are quitting on yourself, you’re quitting on your dreams, your family and your children which is not an option so make sure you stick to it. Whatever you set out to do make sure you stick to your dreams and never give up.

What Makes A Good Movie Every year numerous movies are made in the entertainment industries but all are not liked: some top the charts while others are kicked out of the box office. Some become the hot topic of discussion for the critics while others just escapes their notice, in short some get a thumps up while others a thumps down. But how many of these, which get a positive feedback, are actually good movies? Well it is not that simple to answer, as it seems. The topic is very much subjective. What seems good to some may not be the same for the others. What appears enjoyable to a few others might be enjoyable for others. Then what exactly is a good movie? To generalize it, we can say that those movies, which are liked by the mass and not by some class category of people, could be considered as a good movie. But what are the traits that are needed for a movie to qualify as a good one. First of all a movie should provide good entertainment. They are of course others: Touch our feelings: A movie should touch our heart and make us talk or think about it instead of just becoming a time pass. It should have the capacity to teach and inspire us and provoke us emotionally. Educative: It should be able to let us know about something new. Nowadays movies are considered to be one of the most effective educational tools used to teach or educate people regarding certain issues. In short a good movie should have some educative value for the masses. Mirror of the society: A good movie must also provide some elements of encouragement and inspire people towards successfully overcoming barriers. Movies are regarded as the mirror of life. Every story of a movie is more or less inspired by our life, by what happens around us.
But this is not all; there are some other factors also which contribute in making a movie, to be considered as good. Following are the points: The Plot: This is the most important part of the movie. Without a good plot a movie fails to attract and retain the viewers in the theaters. Even if they were drawn to it initially for some reasons, people would loose interest sooner than later. The Characters: The second most significant factor of any good movie is the characters of the story. Without them there would be no story and no plot. Characters should be such, that the audience likes them. Be it a positive character or negative one. They should have some qualities to which the people can relate. Actors: We need good actors to make a good movie. Actors, who can justify the characters and make them, come alive in front of the audience. They must be able to portray the characters well so that people say that the characters are made keeping them in mind. They should blend themselves into the characters. Script: Without dialogues movies look dead. Script is the life of movies so they should be very strong and appealing. They can even make people come and see the movie repeatedly. Last but not the least, visual display of a movie with beautiful scenes and sceneries can also influence and draw people to the theaters.

Three Qualities of Highly-Effective Leaders By Dr. Jimmie Flores I often use a quote from MSNBC’s Chris Matthews: “To become a meaningful participant, you must get a seat at the table.” It makes sense that we must take some level of risk, and do something to contribute to the success of our organization. In other words, standing on the sidelines will accomplish nothing. We must participate. Here recently, I heard Matthews discuss the leadership qualities that he finds important. While his discussion focused on the current political candidates, the attributes are equally applicable to those of us in the business community.
If you are easily discouraged when a challenge arises, you lack the passion for that activity, work, and even for your career success. You must continually search for meaningful work. If you often awake before your alarm clock sounds because of your excitement to reach your office, you have passion for what you do. Passionate people have a difficult time accepting failure. Instead, they look for different angles, a unique perspective, and new ways to exploit opportunities. Quality #3: Spontaneity
Quality #1: Motive
