UTX (KAFO) The UTX-SWING keeps the knee locked during stance and stance phase during gait. Free knee flexion is possible during the swing phase of walking. This makes walking with the UTX-SWING safe and with a naturally gait. UTX-STABIL The knee joint has a lock that kan be unlocked while sitting. During walking the knee joint ensures support in both flexion and extension and the knee remains locked. With the UTX-FREE the knee moves freely in the sagittal plane in flexion. Suitable for stabilisation or Knee hyperextension of in combination with a FS versie (see below) stabilization in the frontal plane knee. The UTX-POST supports the knee in the sagittal plane in cases of hyperextension. The UTX-POST prevents increase of the hyperextention and stabilises the knee by means of the posteriorly placed pelottes.
