GM BREAKFAST MEETING TALKS Continuing the regular GM breakfast meetings, on 21 May 2018, AmCham hosted the executives of Intellectual Property Owners Club (IPOC), UMAKS/ DHL in Armenia, Business Support Center (BCS), the Armenian Branch of Fund for Armenian Relief of America (FAR), NOVA Hotel Yerevan. As a nonmember company, AmCham hosted the executive of Essential Solutions. The early morning discussion was very productive in terms of brainstorming about ongoing projects with the existing partners and a good introductory for the potential AmCham members.
AMCHAM “BE MY GUEST” WITH HYELANDZ ECO VILLAGE RESORT The opening season of “Be My Guest” series was celebrated with HyeLandz Eco Village Resort, which organized a fantastic “Be My Guest” event for AmCham members on 20 May 2018. The participants had a fascinating tour at the HyeLandz premises; met Ms. Caroline and Mr. Arthur Zakarians, cofounders, who talked about the history and culture of the eco village resort; discovered raised bed gardens and orchards, resort facilities that create ecologically clean environment; learned the lavash baking and butter “churning” in khnotsi; visited Hyelandz store room to see all the homemade products made by HyeLandz on the premises including honey, jams, juices, pickles, liqueurs and more; had delicious buffet lunch offering homemade Armenian and Lebanese traditional cuisine by HyeLandz, and enjoyed a surprise entertainment program: live Armenian music with a festive cake! AmCham members were pleased with the hospitality of HyeLandz management and great program organized special for AmCham guests. MEET THE AMCHAM NEW EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR! Dear Reader, I feel privileged and proud to start my new role as AmCham Executive Director. I was first introduced to AmCham more than 3 years ago and since then I have been admiring the huge and impressive work that is carried out via this platform. And from now on, I am on board! I am excited to put my knowledge, expertise, and efforts to the benefit of AmCham.
