May 8 I Online Meeting with the US Ambassador AmCham Turkey hosted US Ambassador David Satterfield at its online Board Meeting to get his insights on TurkeyUS economic relations during the Covid-19 outbreak.

May 15 I Online Meeting with the Presidency of Strategy and Budget AmCham Turkey Board Members organized an online meeting with the Vice President and General Managers at the Presidency of Strategy and Budget with a focus on - The economic measures taken by AmCham Members during the Covid-19 period - Recommendations by AmCham Members on the measures for business continuity in the normalization process, - Consultation on joint efforts regarding supply chains, employment and SMEs.

COVID-19 BRIEFING WEBINARS April 2 I Recent Developments Pertaining to the Covid-19 Outbreak AmCham Turkey Healthcare & Life Sciences Committee hosted DERYA UNUTMAZ, Professor of Immunology at the Jackson Laboratory based in New York at a Webinar on "The Recent Developments Pertaining to the Covid-19 Outbreak". Dr. Unutmaz's lab developed various genetic methods and assays to interrogate human immune cells from healthy people and patients. These approaches led to several important discoveries in diseases such as HIV infection and cancer immunotherapy. Dr. Unutmaz’s lab has recently been studying the interaction between the human immune system, metabolism and bacteria within human body.
