David Grissett, Jacksonville native, Eagle Scout, and graduate of Episcopal School of Jacksonville and Florida State University, is Account Executive for Fernandina Beach’s Angel Watch Personal Care. With years of home health care experience, David quickly identified what he enjoyed most about his job. “The most rewarding part of my job is knowing we provide a valuable service to people by providing daily assistance and warm companionship to help keep our patients safe, independent, and empowered in their homes,” says David.
Angel Watch Personal Care, an Amedisys company, offers a range of services tailored to your circumstances. Some of Angel Watch’s services include assistance with bathing, grooming, and dressing, meal preparation, grocery shopping, light housekeeping, grocery delivery, laundry services, and medication and appointment reminders. They also offer companionship and emotional support for enhanced wellbeing, such as reading to their clients, engaging in conversation, and listening. They can accompany clients to appointments and involve them in exercise and recreational activities. They also specialize in dementia and Alzheimer’s care.
Luckily, David’s life isn’t all work and no play. “When I’m not working, you can find me attending my son’s basketball games year-round or on my bicycle. I also enjoy visiting great local craft breweries on the island, listening to music, and traveling.” Angel Watch Personal Care is located at 1869 S 8th Street, Suite A. BabyQuip
Crystal Netherland knows firsthand how hectic it can be travelling with small children. Before she moved back to Amelia Island in June last year, she and her husband would travel with their two young boys from California to Amelia Island two or three times each year to visit family. “It’s a lot! There is nothing relaxing about lugging all of the extra things you need for the little ones when you’re travelling,” says Crystal. “But BabyQuip changed that, and I decided to become a BabyQuip Quality Provider to help other mamas make their trips easier.”
BabyQuip is a game changer. They provide families with a huge assortment of clean, safe, and insured baby equipment— everything to keep the little ones sleeping well at night and engaged during the day so that everyone can have a wonderful vacation. And BabyQuip uses natural, non-toxic cleaning products that are tough on dirt, but safe for your baby. “I love making parents and grandparents visits so much easier. I know it may sound cliched, but I also love getting my kids involved. For example, when I rent out a toy bucket, I let Elias, who is four, and Benjamin, who is two, contribute a couple of their toys, and I pay them a little bit for it. They’re learning how to run a business right alongside me!”
When Crystal isn’t working, she likes to get creative. “I love to refinish furniture. I also enjoy baking, watercolors, and party planning. I’m always looking for fun things that inspire me and help me refocus.” For more information, call Crystal at (904) 624-1620 or email crystal596@babyquip.com.
