CFA Society Emirates Hosts CFA Institute Research Challenge 2014-15 CFA Society Emirates,the local UAE member society of CFA Institute, will host its annual research challenge in the UAE for the sixth consecutive year. Over the next few months, twenty students will compete in five teams from five universities, and business schools including:American University of Sharjah, Middlesex University Dubai, Institute Of Management Technology Dubai, Zayed University Abu Dhabi and Sultan Qaboos University Muscat.The teams will analyse Emaar Malls Group, the retail subsidiary of Emaar Properties, a leading property developer based in Dubai.Each team will be mentored by an industry mentor and a faculty advisor and at the end of the process they will prepare an equity research report which they will then present to a team of judges. The winning team will then go forward to compete at the EMEA regional competition in Amsterdam, Netherlands and potentially global finals in Atlanta, Georgia, USA in April 2015.
