Industry Roundtable Members Add Significant Value to the Annual Meeting Experience

The AAN has long recognized the value of collaborating with industry, and the Industry Roundtable (IRT) is the AAN’s corporate membership program for companies wishing to deepen their relationship with the Academy to share vision, intellect, and financial resources in the mutual pursuit of improved quality of patient care. While the IRT is active year-round, member companies are particularly engaged at the AAN Annual Meeting, working jointly with the Academy to improve the Annual Meeting experience for all attendees through the valuable support of continuing medical education courses, in-kind donations for workshops, contribution of high-quality research to the Scientific Program, sponsorship of the Run/Walk for Brain Research, and investment in the future of neurology by supporting the AAN Leadership Programs. Get your exercise and art at the same time. Other sites to see are the aquarium, as well as the Museum of History and Industry (MOHAI). There is also a Center for Wooden Boats.

Attendees Immersed Themselves in All-digital, Interactive Poster Experience

The fully digital scientific poster session has been a hit with attendees all week. The new format has provided a unique opportunity for participants to interact and engage with the research, presenters, and other fellow attendees like never before. “The robust and diverse science presented at an Annual Meeting poster session has always been top-notch,” said AAN science Committee member Irene Malaty, MD, FAAN. “But this year’s completely new digital format has taken it to another level. Not only are attendees getting the chance to learn about so many exciting new discoveries, but they are able to take in, absorb, and interact with the information in a way that takes the experience to a new level. It’s been very exciting.” Be sure to visit Hall 4B to see these digital posters. 
