DAY 1 Welcome to Calgary, Alberta! Arrive at Fairmont Palliser Hotel for a 1-night stay. Set in the heart of the city, Fairmont Palliser is an historical landmark offering elegant accommodations. Dinner.

DAY 2 Breakfast. Journey into Banff National Park. See Banff’s unique Hoodoo Rock formations, Surprise Corner, and Tunnel Mountain Drive. Climb to the top of Sulphur Mountain on the Banff Gondola. DAY 3 Breakfast. Full day of sightseeing traveling along the Bow Valley Parkway to Johnston Canyon. Enjoy lunch at the famous Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise. See Moraine Lake and the Valley of The Ten Peaks, Victoria Glacier, Yoho National Park, Emerald Lake and Takakkaw Falls. Arrive back into Banff in the late afternoon.

DAY 4 Breakfast. Ride atop glaciers aboard an Ice Explorer as you tour the Columbian Icefields. Lunch included at the Icefields Parkway. See Bow Lake and Athabasca Falls. Arrive at the Whistler’s Inn Jasper for a two night stay. Dinner.

What You Need To Know Before You Go

Selecting A Room Type

Each of our tours has two prices – a double occupancy and single occupancy price. If you make a single occupancy reservation, you will have a hotel room to yourself. If you make a double occupancy reservation, you will be sharing your hotel room with someone else whether that be your friend, spouse, or travel companion. Hotel rooms are priced on a per room basis, not a per person basis.

Special Dietary Accommodations

We do our best to accommodate special dietary requests such as gluten-free diets, vegetarian diets and food allergies. Please mention your specific needs at the time of reservation.

Payment Types

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express. You may also pay by check. Please make checks payable to American Classic Tours, Inc. Mail your check to American Classic Tours, Inc. at 888 E. Belvidere Rd, Suite 407, Grayslake, IL 60030.

DEPOSIT & FINAL PAYMENT DATES

A deposit is due with reservation. Deposit and final payment dates are listed on each tour page.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations prior to or on the final payment date receive a full refund less a $50 cancellation for North American Tours or $250 cancellation fee for Caribbean Cruises, European Ocean Cruises, and European River Cruises. Cancellations after the final payment date, there is no refund. If you purchase travel insurance, you are eligible to file a claim with your insurance provider.

Begin your tour with a convenient, professional pickup at your front door. Home pickup and return service is available if you live within 50 miles of a major metro airport. If you live beyond 50 miles, call us to see if service is available in your area.

2. AIRFARE:

Airfare can be added to all tour packages upon request. If you have airline mileage, TSA KTN or Global Entry numbers, please mention at the time of reservation. If you prefer to book your own airfare, you will then meet the tour at the destination.

3. TRAVEL INSURANCE:

Travel insurance may be added to your reservation. Travel insurance can include coverage for trip cancellation/ interruption, emergency medical & medical evacuation/ repatriation, baggage delay, trip delay, and more. For your convenience, we offer travel insurance provided by Travelex Insurance Services, Inc. (CA Agency License #0D10209). Benefits and rates are subject to change.

American Classic Tours are active itineraries featuring full days and multiple attractions. We recommend you bring comfortable walking shoes. Some itineraries may include areas requiring significant walking, stairs, inclines and uneven terrain especially in remote regions of nature or in historic districts. Certain areas have restrictive and limited motorcoach access requiring more walking. American Classic Tours regrets that it cannot provide individual assistance for guests using wheelchairs or motorized scooters. For guests requiring this individual assistance, a companion must accompany the guest to provide this assistance. The level of activity will vary per destination as stated on every tour page of this catalog. WHAT HAPPENS AFTER YOU MAKE A RESERVATION?

After you make your reservation, we will send an invoice to your email showing what you have paid, your remaining balance, and the final payment due date. If you purchased Travel Insurance, you will receive an email with a link to the policy.

Receipt Sent After The Final Payment

After you have made your final payment, we will send you a receipt showing that you’re paid in full and all set to hit the road!

About 1 month prior to the departure date of your tour, we will email you all of tour documents which will provide important information about your upcoming journey.
