Wellpride

Does fish oil for horses sound odd? When Wellpride® launched in 2003, using equine fish oil was uncharted territory. People weren’t sure what to make of it…until they saw the amazing results. Trainers noticed enhanced endurance and focus; judges remarked at gleaming coats; riders appreciated better movement & recovery rates.

Fast forward 20 years – Wellpride is celebrating a milestone! As the first equine fish oil on the market, we’ve felt privileged to see horses succeed at Devon, the Kentucky Derby, the Pan American Games, and the Olympics, to name a few. We’ve also had the satisfaction of helping rescue horses get much needed TLC.

To better your horse’s coat, joints, brain, and respiratory health, choose the #1 fish oil for horses – Wellpride!

Did You Know?

When it comes to omega-3s, the adage “the more, the merrier” holds true! Omega-3s – particularly the EPA and DHA fatty acids found in fish – have potent anti-inflammatory effects. But those anti-inflammatory benefits depend on your horse getting an adequate dose. How much that is depends on factors like weight, age, your horse’s diet, and also how much inflammation they’re experiencing. Horses that are older, weigh more, or struggle with inflammation issues like EIPH or allergies usually need higher doses. As a general rule, we at Wellpride recommend 1 - 2 oz of fish oil daily for a 1000 pound horse (7.5 g - 15 g EPA/DHA). That's an effective daily boost for stronger health all around!
