American Stage offers FREE tickets for young people under the age of 20 for all of our regularly scheduled Mainstage Performances throughout the 2019 calendar year (based on availability, some restrictions may apply).

About the TEACHING ARTISTS American Stage Teaching Artists are some of the Tampa Bay Area’s most accomplished professional actors, directors, and theatre artists. All of our Teaching Artists have a passion for education, and participate in artistic and inclusion training throughout the year.

IMPROVISATION p Focuses on acting techniques through theatre games, characterizations and exercises, allowing students to think clearly on their feet and work together as a team.

MOVEMENT & Dance p Develops an awareness of movement, improves coordination, and expands physical expressiveness. Introduces various styles of dance and refines rhythm and timing.

ACTING p Develops the imagination, refines listening and observation skills, and builds confidence through plays and poetry.

• NEW LOCATION: Summer programs will be held at Admiral Farragut Academy, 501 Park Street N, Saint Petersburg, FL 33710. • Meets Monday-Friday, 9am-3pm. • Each session culminates in a Final Sharing performance on the evening of the last day of the session. • Pre-Care and After-Care are available. Pre-Care meets from 8am-9am and After-Care Meets from 3pm-5pm.
