HOW CAN AMERICORPS MEMBERS SUPPORT AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAMS?

AmeriCorps provides assistance in the creation and implementation of afterschool programs. Having an AmeriCorps member in your afterschool program provides additional resources and increases overall capacity. AmeriCorps members can help expand and sustain your program goals by managing program activities, providing student and community outreach services, and performing other essential duties.

AMERICORPS MEMBERS SERVE IN URBAN AND RURAL SCHOOLS, NONPROFITS, TRIBAL COMMUNITIES, FAITH-BASED ORGANIZATIONS, GOVERNMENT AGENCIES, AND COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS.
