To strengthen communities and develop leaders through direct, teambased national and community service. In partnership with nonprofit organizations, state and local agencies, and faith-based and other community organizations, members complete service projects throughout the region they are assigned.

Lydia Boote, 23. Is a resident from Deerfield, IL and attended Denison University. She is the Corps Ambassador Program Representative.

John Johnson II, 19. Is from Hampton, VA and is a G.E.D. graduate from Y.H. Thomas Sports Complex. He is the Media Representative.

Hannah Davis, 20. Was raised in Alpine, TX and attended University of North Texas. She represents the Service Learning Initiator and the Team Trainer.

Edward Kim, 24. Is a resident Jeremy La Roche, 19. Is from Sparta, WI and attended Wisconsin National Guard Challenge Academy. He runs as the Team Trainer and the Service Learning Initiator.

Debra Ostrander, 20. Is a permanent resident of Alpena, MI and graduated with an Associate’s Degree in Fine Arts. She is the Media Representative and the Vehicle safety tools officer.

Gregory Day, 21. Is a resident of Chicago, IL and previously served a term in Vinton, Iowa in AmeriCorps NCCC. He serves as both the Health and Wellness Liaison and Corps Ambassador Program Representative.

Katee Moore, 19. Is a resident of Tucson, AZ and attended Pima Community College. Before AmeriCorps she worked in a VA office for college. She represents the Assistant Team Leader, the Project Outreach Liaison and the Health and Wellness Liaison.

Grace Hahm, 22. Is a happy resident of Boulder, CO and attended Colorado College. She represents as the Buffalo Unit Community Council Representative Vehicle Safety Tools officer.

Taft Barnett, 25. Is the Team Leader and is a resident of Asheville, NC, and was born in Atlanta, GA. He attended University of North Carolina and received a degree in ecology. He has worked in Environment Conservation and Wild land firefighting since 2006.
