Her professional experience revolves around Leadership Development for youth and young adults. She enjoys traveling and photography in her spare time. Charnese Robinson, 23, from Cleveland, MS. Some of her hobbies are singing, writing songs/poetry. Her specialty roles are Media Representative Vehicle Safety & Tools Officer.
Evan Berry, 24, from San Diego, CA He is a recent graduate of Northeastern University with a degree in political science. He enjoys politics, competitive sports and anything that deals with superheroes. Also can’t wait to tackle all of the projects that await him this year. He is one of the team’s Project Outreach Liaisons and Vehicle Safety & Tools Officer
Always giving you more!! On our last project Buffalo IV worked with the Valley Youth House in Orefield, Pennsylvania clearing out their fallen trees and other debris off their hiking trails left by Hurricane Irene. Having made significant progress in the first few weeks, we went on to fully renovate their five residential cabins as well. We now have our eyes set on Cradle Beach. Cradle Beach is a special needs camp focused on developing skills in an accepting environment.
Jessica Johnson, 24, Montague, MI She received a bachelor’s degree from Siena Heights University where she played Women’s Collegiate Soccer for 4 years. She worked for Goodwill Industries as a case manager, and has a desire for helping at risk youth gain skills to be successful in life. She is the Assistant Team Leader and Service Learning Initiator.
Anna Colfescu, 22, from Sacramento, CA She is getting her degree in public relations. Her specialty roles are Corps Ambassador Program Representative and Team Trainer. Her skills and experience include writing for local papers and getting the message of importance out in the world.
Keiana Coombs, 21, Gaithersburg, MD She is currently an Education Administration major. She has dedicated 10 months of her life to AmeriCorps NCCC due to her life passion of philanthropy. She enjoys reaching out to the community, working with the youth, and spending time with friends and family. She is the team’s Health & Wellness Liaison as well as a Project Outreach Liaison and is looking forward to finding opportunities that are in the communities to help her team.
Rufus Carrillo, 20, from San Antonio Texas, has attended 2 years of college at Texas A&M. His specialty roles include Team Trainer along with being a Media Representative. He has participated in many volunteer programs and looks to bring his perspective to the team.
