Project Description
Installing insulation, air sealing, and replacing windows and doors for low wealth residents will be completed. These efforts support an area noted for having the oldest housing stock in the nation a high Assisting theand camp withdependence clean-up of tree damage from recent storms. Finish staining building on site so they all match, creating paths throughout the program area, brush clean up and brush pile removal(due to hemlock disease), building trash can containers, painting the interior of buildings, and landscaping.
Clearing and shaping trails, upgrading rain gardens, installing rain barrels, and landscaping historical cemeteries for local veterans. These efforts aid the city in complying with an EPA mandate in the northeast Region to control water runoff. 31-Oct-2011 Assisting with the recovery of Nicholas County residents, primarily mucking and gutting. 04-Nov-2011 Creating new trails, historical site preservation, and developing "spectator viewing" at the community skate park are the ways the team will support this small, rural town in maintaining its history and providing safety in outdoor spaces.

Members are doing trailwork, disaster cleanup from recent tornadoes, and caring for recently planted trees. Assisting in the rehabilitation of a newly acquired building that will house family service programs and will become a charter high school. Installing a 13 element, 2 mile Fitness Loop. Work includes trail clearing and maintenance, element area clearing and construction, and the rebuilding of two pedestrian/equestrian bridges on the route. Buiding new townhomes in Wilmington; members are involved in any of the following: framing, installing windows, doors, painting, vinyl siding, and landscaping. Constructing new homes for low wealth residents and constructing a shed on a property listed with the national historical registry according to national standards ensuring the architectural integrity of the structure. Closing camp for the winter season by taking down tents, removing potentially dangerous debris, and securing buildings. Muck/gut homes, clear debris and support volunteer reception center in Tioga County, NY under Mission Assignment FEMA 4031DR-NY: Remnants of Tropical Storm Lee.
